Good news for all TLK collectors in USA. Thanks to 2005 Boards member GiganGoji for reporting that Transformers The Last Knight Deluxe Cogman Is Out At US Toys R Us.
GiganGoji sent us a picture and receipt of his recent sighting at Toys R Us in Olympia, Washington for 19.99 Dollars. He also reports 2 Cogmans, 2 Bees, 1 Strafe, and 1 Crosshairs on the store.
Happy hunting for all TLK fans, we hope you can finally add Cogman into your collections. Stay tuned for more sightings at the 2005 boards!

The decisions about which figures to produce and release in each wave were probably made over a year ago. I'm sure Hasbro is aware of the retail situation but it's far past the point where they can alter the case layout unless they're prepared to sit on inventory for what was removed from the case.

I think "New Mold" is pushing it. It's an altered mold, most of it is still the same. And still about as crappy.

I'm scared to question if this was in jest or serious, considering your username handle
STOP.
For that alone, you get a like

Crosshairs is a new mold, bruh. There's a reason he costs as much as Wave 3 Bumblebee on the secondary market.
siccoyote
It's a chase figure because:
2x Cogman – Much wanted
2x Bumblebee (new sculpt)– Not much wanted
1x Crosshairs – Crappy old mold everyone has had enough of
1x Strafe – See crosshairs x2
1x Barricade – Still clogging shelves everyone who wants one has one
1x Decepticon Berserker – Ditto
So case comes in Cogman disappears, 6 other bots clog shelves

I may be crazy enough to think that being an elementary school teacher is a great career choice, but I'm NOT crazy enough to order a figure from overseas for double or triple the price (on a teacher's salary?) and then spend my time taking that figure INTO a store just to grab a picture to mess with people online.
I wish I had taken a picture of it on the shelf (with the new Leaders and the MPMs) but I was so blown away by actually seeing it in person that I grabbed it and went straight to the checkout.
I hope it shows up at your TRU soon!
I go on Thursdays so that 1) I can get 10% off, and 2) I'm more likely to find new products before they get snatched up over the weekend. My advice is to go before Fridays, and maybe even ask when they get new shipments in.
Thank you!

Irony, I just got finished watching AOTC and Yoda's infamous muttering then read this…

OMG that was awesome

This statement is provably false. The receipt sports the UPC barcode for Deluxe Cogman (630509578726). You can look up the barcode on Google and immediately find eBay, Target, BBCW Distributors and ToyWiz listings for Cogman.
There's only person in this thread who appears to be full of it, and that's probably the person who just signed up specifically to call someone a liar, and immediately failed spectacularly at it.

Sorry, That doesn't sound like his British-speak.
Absolutely TeeHee-ous!!
[edited to add Absolutely]

Is it illegal to say "Cogman" or something?

Soo… nothing on the other CF figures either?
Glad to hear this though. Means he is coming to Cali soon

I also spotted RID Twinferno today at TRU

This person is full of it. No Toys R Us stores are carrying THIS figure! They most likely bought it online for double or triple the price and are showing it in the picture as if they bought it from a store. The numbers on the receipt, don\'t match THIS character either. It\'s to other figures in the line.

Cogman is my favourite of the TLK line. I'm glad to see that it has hit US shores. I recommend the toy to anyone who liked the character and who appreciates TF movie toys.

Funny how Hasbro waits till the movie hype is dead to release this figure. Hell, I was at goodwill today and saw 2 TLK toys…

There's no point in debating with the resident know-it-all. However I completely agree with you. All good points.

In a normal situation, he probably wouldn't be considered such. However Barricades, Berserkers, and Bumblebees* from wave 1 are still clogging the shelves at many stores so these locations are likely to get very few, if any, cases containing Cogman. Even if they get him, if the demand for him is high enough, they will likely sell out pretty quickly and the others figures in the case will shelfwarm and prevent the retailer from ordering additional cases from the warehouse. So relative to the available figures on the shelves, he is likely to be at "chase level proportions." They could have ditched the repaints from AOE or the repacks of the already shelfwarming Berserkers and Barricades and replaced them with additional Cogmans and new Bees.
*I also suspect the new Bee will sit around since many parents and kids aren't likely to notice the fact it is a new mold.

My local Walmart and Target are stuffed to the gills with wave 1 stuff. (Walmart in particular still has about 2 dozen wave 1 deluxes.) Unless I get super lucky on my monthly stop at TRU, I'm pretty much never going to find a Cogman without paying significant markup. Such a shame Hasbro (with the help of retailers who overstocked wave 1) blew this whole line.

How is 2 per case, when everyone else except for Bumblebee is 1 per case, a "chase figure"?
