Mockup toy of Power Of The Primes Predaking and prototype toy of Megatron from the mysterious new Transformers toyline has been revealed by Instagram user Gaboros and by another user at 4Chan.
Predaking mockup is in front of a poster titled Power Of The Primes. The details are not fleshed out due to the fact that the mockup is just a representation of what the actual toy may look like with regards to size and color.
Megatron is a direct representation of the character design seen on My Busy Book, Radz Candy and on the Packaging Art of Grimlock which we saw recently. Therefore, this is our first solid look at the new toyline apart from the details revealed via aforementioned packaging art. We still do not know what this new toyline will be called despite the speculations surrounding it being a part of Cyberverse; Hasbro’s upcoming cartoon series following the conclusion of Robots In Disguise.

The first teaser for Predaking said they would all be voyager size, so i assume that, with added hips/thighs, this will be Devs height. Hoping he's a little bigger though. I guess he will come with his big blaster shoes as well.

Yep and I thought he is going to beefy at first. Now I think he is sexy figure by looking this

Takara Trypticon says "hi."

Takara might.

I can see them sliding out a little for combine mode, sliding back down for bot mode.
But we all know Hasbro isn't going to use extra plastic for that.

I think part of the issue will be making wings that work well for both Divebomb and the combined mode.

The mock up wings seem small. Hopefully the final product have good decent wings….

You think there's any other place to play with those extremely small toys which are easy to lose?! One of the headmasters could just got lost as you can't put it in Overlord chest in his robot mode and get it close! Think about the potential of games you can play with this kind of idea like having Overlord being injured as one of his powermaster being destoyed or have the deceptions going on quest to find the lost powemasters and restore Overlord to life and such. Playing with toys isn't just about posing them, but also making stories and charactres!

I'm not sure how "the character is a combination of two personalities" adds any play value to the toy unless where literally talking about kids playing with them on a family-room carpet. As collector's I would assume by play value you'd mean "gimmicks that make for an interesting toy", which I'd say alternate heads over cubes is about as close as objectively better than cubes that slot in his chest… especially considering said cubes are still there, albeit irremovable. Hell, you could still pretend Overlord is both Mega and Giga's personality combined saying as the other Titanmaster would be literally piloting a cockpit, which shouldn't really be a problem seeing as in this scenario we seem to be pretending our toy has an actual personality.

The thing is Takara eventually used both the headmaster and targetmaster gimmick together so I don't see why they didn't do the same with poor Overlord
. I do agree about Hasbro doing a better job with Overlord, hopefully they would release the enginemasters in POTP and get extra money more then they should
.
I love Star Saber too, he is like the original Diaclone toys
! I hope they re-release his MP version ( I found out about his existence too late;_; ) and that new POTP version will be good.

While I do agree having 3 'master' characters would be best, we've seen since the start of Titans Return (for better or for worse) every 'class' figure has a gimmick all of its own. I.e. They're all headmasters, voyagers are all triple changers, leaders all had a 'base' mode or something similar (in Sixshot's case) etc.
No matter who did Overlord he still would have been a headmaster, I actually feel Hasbro did it best by leaving slots for the upcoming Prime Master 'engines' to fit into. Takara could have gone to three, but it looks like they don't want a mix of Headmasters & Powermasters on 1 figure.
If Overlord was released in the new line hewould have the engines, but either be a Combiner chest & voyager size, or leader size but have a smaller character who 'evolves' into Overlord.
That's also why I want Star Saber in the new line, & be happy if Deszaras 'may' be held over to the next one. Star Saber already has an 'evolution' from Saber to Star Saber, whereas Deszaras is either a size below him & Combiner chest, or if he's the same size he'd be stuck with a smaller size character he never had.

I don't think so…as you have one head/titanmaster floating around. Story wise the 2 pilots of 2 alt mode become core part or there I even say the "souls" of the robot mode would make more fun and interesting story/charcater to play with and therefore better play value! Gimmicks doesn't add automatically great play value, unless they're well executed which isn't the case here. Anyway, I think the third option as I explained earlier would have been the best.

Maybe that argument could be made for Hasbro, but the Legends version DOES have more play value than the original. Two smaller robots that turn into two alternate faces to choose between (to say nothing of the cross-compatibility with other TR toys) is a FAR better gimmick than two smaller robots that turn into cubes that are useless outside of sticking to Overlord's chest.
