Another casting call for Transformers Universe: Bumblebee has surfaced online. What’s so interesting about this one is the fact that the listing is very specific on what sort of additional vehicles they require (actually, do not require) to be “extras”.
“CAR CASTING: Additional compensation paid for late 70’s – mid 80’s CARS to be parked in scenes (no yellow, white, red or black cars)”
Of course the vehicles belonging to late 70s / mid 80s is understandable considering the setting of the movie which is around 1987.
Not allowing Yellow, White, Red or Black cars is rather interesting. This could be a subtle hint that the robot cast may consist of yellow, white, red or black cars. The color yellow is hardly debatable considering the fact that the main lead is Bumblebee. Other three colors remains a mystery.
Strange enough, this may further confirm our previous leak of a possible set being prepared for the movie. The set indeed had four vehicles in yellow, red, white and black. You can check out the images, after the jump.

so….. no Yellow, White, Red or Black…. who is there with those colours??
mmmmhmhhmmm… let\'s try, don\'t know
Drag Strip? Drag Strip – Transformers Toys – TFW2005
Breakdown? Breakdown – Transformers Toys – TFW2005
Dead End? Dead End – Transformers Toys – TFW2005
Wildrider? Wildrider – Transformers Toys – TFW2005
maybe it\'s just a coincidence
I know, Wildrider is more grey than black, but his color has enough dark to be changed in black with no regret
by the way, the Stunticons were part of 1986 wave; if the movie is set in 1987, it\'s a deal

[checks time it usually takes to get to Santa Cruz from home]
Yeah, I can definitely make it to there.

Di Bonaventura on Bumblebee: "The objective of that movie is to develop more time with less robots in a way, and to go back to 1985 and go back to sort of the original heritage if you would of the Transformers. "

Oooooh!!! I didn't think about Soundwave!!! He was on earth for an unknown period of time. Maybe he's the white car, barricade's the black car, bees the yellow car, and clifdjumpers the red car.

where is the "plenty of indication"? ambiguous photos of nostalgic vehicles?
drbeakman
yes, heaven forbid you'd discuss a reboot on a transformers forum, on a thread about the 6th movie, with images highlighting evidence of "going in a new direction"…. where is the right place to discuss a new movie? alone, in my head?
primal789
For some people any place is appropriate to talk about rebooting.I'll bet they go in an important meeting at work and they say:"You know what Transformers needs a reboot..it needs to happen now"
Nitro Brawl
yesss idc about bee
all i care is about the decepticons
Barricade has 80% chance of being in the movie
followed by starscream or soundwave and a cameo of Megs.
i hope they would add nitro zeus huhu lol.
MetalStorm
Megatron Jr.?
OdinPrime
Man, it\'d be cool if Cliffjumper was in this movie. But, then again I felt the same way about Hot Rod in TLK…..
Gallade
Son of a gun…

We've given you plenty of indication, you simply refuse to see it.
drbeakman
well, when the cars being displayed in said thread are clearly being geared towards a "G1 era look", then dont you think i have the right to be skeptical when there is no indication that there is a departure from the existing bayverse? or am i only allowed to comment on the way things look and divulge no further than that?
AutobotAvalanche
Say whatever you want. Just speak in the appropriate outlets. A thread about what kind of cars to park at the filming of the new movie is not where you should talk about rebooting the series.
drbeakman
so you agree you have no point, so what do you stand for? why even involve yourself in a discussion? am i only allowed to speak if i think everything is good, all the time?
AutobotAvalanche
I'm not here to argue. Yes, I'm poking holes in your flimsy arguments but only because you came into a thread that isn't about the aesthetic or success of the Bumblebee movie to talk about that.
drbeakman
im just pretty sure you dont have a point that you're trying to make, you just dont like what i'm saying, and are trying to find holes in it rather than establish your own viewpoint.
my point is clear: 5 movies in, 5 sub-par results, clearly in any sensical rational world, that would be an indicator to do a hard reboot, not hire a fresh new talented director to give us a "G1 shell" over a "bayformers body".
electronic456
I just have a sixth sense for those sort of things.
drbeakman
well at least you acknowledge that
