Good morning, Transformers fans! The SDCC 2017 Preview Breakfast has started and our crew is on the scene! There’s much to see, so take the jump to check out the pics!

Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy

Power Of The Primes:

Prime Masters are the new Titan Masters. Represents the Original 13 Primes as their Avatars (not to be confused with The Last Airbender… or Korra).

Prime Masters are small extremely powerful being who acts as the Avatars of the 13 Primes. Actually 12. The 13th Avatar being the Matrix Of Leadership itself.

The Avatars hide inside “Decoy Suits” which are essentially Pretenders.

Each Prime Master is a Logo for the 12 Primes.

You can replace the middle part of the Matrix Of Leadership and attach the Avatars to the frame.

The Avatars can be fitted to the Deluxe and Voyager classes as well. But the highlight is the replacement of Matrix Of Leadership which comes with each Leader Class figures (each with a unique Matrix).

Hot Rod car is a Deluxe. Can combine with the trailer to become Leader Class Rodimus Prime.

Transformers: Titans Return:

Deluxe Slugslinger with Titan Master Caliburst is featured as a single pack.

Transformers: The Last Knight

Nothing new was shown during the Preview Breakfast. Cannot be sure about the panel either. But keep your fingers crossed.

Movie Masterpiece Optimus Prime was on display and looking rather good. It’ll be a great addition to the Movie Collection.

What do you mean, the potp leader style totally fits StarSaber.

I know, I just don't think Hasbro's going to do it.

you mean like a few years ago combiners and headmasters were a pipe dream? or a new fort max and trypticon? or a new liokaiser put out by hasbro and not takara? or a new sixshot that actually has all 6 modes? or an overlord?

at this point nothing is a pipe dream and everything is on the table because just a few short years ago everything from combiner wars and titans return was considered a pipe dream

I suppose, cautious optimism engaged.

I am looking forward to Rodimus, but why are painting rims off the table with Hadbro? It just looks so odd having one wheel peg gray, one wheel peg red, and the other black?

I'll take a Rodimus, both flavours of Optimus, a Predaking and a Dinobot combiner thanks Hasbro. I would have so loved to see Star Saber and Deathsaurus as leaders, but I think it's safe to say that ever seeing new versions of them is a pipe dream by now, especially in the potp leader style. Overall these leaks are a 9/10 for me.

As various forum-goers have pointed out, this Jazz mould has a huge number of potential retools and repaints.

I'm wondering now with all the speculation about hot rod connecting to his trailer to form rodimus (sounds like you have to put his matrix in to do it to etc… add the martix to hotrod makes him transform to rodimus prime)….

Could that mean optimus prime cab section detaching from his trailer and forming orion pax?

And could gimlock and the other deluxe dinobots combine?

According to the leader slide, the "mortal" combines with the vehicle to become a "Prime", so yes, presumably Optimus' cab turns into a smaller "mortal" robot. As far as dinobots, so st yes, seems like they combine. Voyagers and deluxes seem to be following the combiner wars formula.

as much as I love Rock Lords … as advertised these prime masters sound boring.

If they actually DID something, like light up with different colors and make the containing robots light piping change colors… THAT would be cool, or maybe changed which sound bites get said when you press a button.? Or WHAT IF THEY were like cyber planet keys and enabled some feature.

But just a cube? Representing some diety. I just can't see the fun in that.

I… I actually really love this idea. Like, a non-transforming Energon cube with a button cell in it that lights up in a single color, could come with any Leader class or individually with a transforming transport or something. And instead of just Leaders, Voyagers, and Deluxes, you can put it into Legends class dudes too, and it would light up their eyes and chest. (maybe just the chest on legends guys) There could be normal, dark, synthetic, super, toxic, etc. color Energon cubes, and maybe even the Allspark cube with the obligatory Titan could glow white.

I'd buy the shit outta that.

Like, seriously. Someone get Goldner on the line.
