Finally throwing their hat in to the ring for third-party Masterpiece-styled combiners, X-Transbots recently announced their first entries into their Monolith (Menasor)/Berserkars (Stunticons) project.
We’ve got numerous renders for Flipout (Wildrider) and Crackup (Breakdown) in both bot and alt modes, as well as a preliminary prototype for Crackup, which also shows the figure in both bot and alt mode. So far, there are no images of the combined mode, nor of the individual figures in their various combiner modes.
These figures are being marketed as true homages to the Generation 1 cartoon characters they are meant to represent and feature more of a block-style design with few extraneous details, more in line with what we know and love from G1.
The first of this set is scheduled to be released in the 3rd-quarter of 2017 and can be pre-ordered from a number of our site sponsors for absolutely unbelievably reasonable prices.
See more details, including the price you need to see to believe, below the cut and feel free to jump into the discussion on our boards. So far the reception by the fandom seems to be very favorable, but feel free to add your voice to the conversation.

This may have been one of the last solo threads for a combiner team member before the forum united better around having one dedicated thread per team. But it was convenient that this got bumped and it happens to the one "youth" version we're missing.

I forgot that there was a thread specifically for XTB Flipout. I'm so used to the team thread. Are there threads for the other members?

Really hope we get the "youth" toy version of Flipout soon. @ibot any update on the "youth" version? Eager for this last car for "youth" Berserkars.

Not sure if going to reissue but they could release the youth version although I cant confirm if they will as he is the only one thats hasnt been released.
Hope you find one he is my favorite out of the 5

I just recently became interested in these carbots. While I was able to find all the others, I can’t find Flipout. Am I too late? Or will there be a reissue? Thx in advance for any help.

I'm a little late to the party, but I just got this figure. Wildrider is my favorite Stunticon, and this figure embodies everything I love about him. This is possibly my favorite release thus far, and that says a lot because the last string of releases from XTB are really stellar and I love those a lot, too. This figure is just stunning to look at. I really love the transform, too, and I haven't found myself saying that much about 3rd party figures.

That's much better! Let's just hope it doesn't happen to the replacement.

Thanks for the idea… thankfully i just received the replacement part from my seller. He's all patched up & good to go!

The only "trouble" I've ever encountered was taking a few extra seconds to make show the fingers were properly positioned so that they looked presentable while gripping the weapon.
The only true problematic experience with hands was on my Takara MP10B. The index pointer finger tip on one of stock hands (non-fully articulated) keeps popping out due to Takara assembling that finger tip joint to rely on friction to hold it in place instead of a pin. KFC's or ENESS's fully articulated hands for MP10B solves this issue.
With MP-27 and MP-30 I replaced the stock hands with KFC hands and couldn't be happier. The thumb on the stock hands were prone to breaking off due to them not leaving enough clearance to insert or remove the hand held weapons, especially the twin pistols. Even optibotimus snapped his off.
Also, the KFC fully articulated hands for MP11x based seekers (and Yes Model/BB7, and KBB KOs of those seekers) simply look MUCH better than the stock hands. Plus they are just as durable.

You can't tell me that you've never had to take even the littlest bit of extra care to make sure the fist is balled up super tightly or whatever. A single knuckle out of alignment is often enough for things to get caught up, especially if you've modded your toy for poseable fingers, rather than stock hands. It's slightly less troublesome if the figure specifically has a hollow forearm or something for the hand to tuck into first, but toys not designed with fully-articulated hands often don't have that.

If you're any good with a drill you could glue those two blue parts together (2 part epoxy resin) then drill through from one part into the other with a 1mm drill bit and then glue a portion of 1mm drill bit into that hole as reinforcement. I've done it on quite a few broken parts with great results.

Great pics. These two are my resident couchbots. Just waiting for deathwish to join them.

That's what I'd like to know.

I got Flipout just for his alt mode, so another TF never to be transformed. Lol BRING ON THE PORCHE 928!

What Con is the G2 of this thing dropping?

Yep, on a whim I transformed a good many of my carbots to vehicle mode today. Mp 39 and Badcube Steamroll look so cool with the trunks open, doors flipped up, and pop up headlights out. Wish both these XTB bots had the same options.
