Takara-Tomy Mall have posted the results of a poll held to determine which Transformers Legends series releases will be reissued to celebrate the line’s 50th release. The ten figures to be rereleased include:
- LG 25 Blurr
- LG 26 Scourge
- LG 29 Wheelie & Go Shooter
- LG 31 Fortress Maximus
- LG 32 Chromedome
- LG 07 Jetfire
- LG 10 Arcee
- LG 12 Windblade
- LG 13 Megatron
- LG 14 Ultra Magnus
Note that these rereleases are dependent on Takara-Tomy getting enough preorders to make a new run viable, and that Japanese fans can register their interest through a preorder from today, 7 July, until 25 July.
If these reissues go ahead, the intention is for Blurr, Scourge, Wheelie, Fort Max, and Chromedome to be released in mid December 2017, and Jetfire, Arcee, Windblade, Megatron, and Ultra Magnus to follow in February 2018.

I have the takara versions of the December reissues. All are great and well worth a pock up. I have the Hasbro versions of the others so I'm good.
Hope everyone gets who they want

I mentioned this in another thread:
I hope LG Blurr gets a little work from TakaTom & comes with a port to mount his Targetmaster in alternate mode.

The reissues don't come out until December. So no one will have them.
With that said, the packaging should be the same with the exception of things like possibly time stamps and the like.

For anyone who has gotten these, are the resissuesnin the exact same packaging as the originals?

Personally greatful for a couple of these. That Blurr is beautiful and will replace the Blurr from my movie collection five pack!
Thanks to BBTS preorder, picked up Wheelie for the 86 movie shelf and Shuta for Ginrai giftset!
And next year I can pay under $100 for IDW Magnus! Hooray! Too bad I cant afford that Fort Max right now.

That is so funny.

TakaraTomy ad for reissue LG Blurr. They're asking us to buy LG Doublecross to "complete Targetmaster Blurr".

Oh, and Wheelie & Fort Max too.

Yeah, I was hoping for another shot at Chromia too seeing as how that trio was apparently underproduced. I'll have to figure out how to get around Takara Mall's Japan-only rule to get a Windblade…
Raiju
Although the Titans Return version of Headmaster Windblade looks cool (and I will pick it up; already have it preordered), I really like the deco on LG Windblade and want an extra one for alt mode display. Too bad LG Chromia didn't make the cut as I would've gotten her too.

I may have to jump on this release of Arcee. Back when it originally came out,
I was content with the Hasbro one. Now I'd really like to have the more cartoon styled one.
RKillian
Yeah, Takara actually seems to care a little about Japanese fans. Hasbro's more like you'll-get-whatever-you-get-whenever-you-get-it in comparison.

Robotkingdom has pre-orders for these figures, so it looks like Hasbro Asia is releasing these too.
PoweredConvoy
Not that we know of, no. Just TakaraTomy Mall.
DukeFett
Yeah and like these things do go out to retail stores too, and the rest of Asia too right?
Thundershot
Yeah I'll probably finally cave on Arcee (and then a Headmaster one will be announced as soon as I pay for it )
Scourge is still readily available on eBay for $30 shipped.

Yay ! Arcee <3 Can`t wait .

This.
I don't know why, but I expected something insanely unique or rare. These feel like they came out last week. :/ Guess I'm just thirsty for something exclusive I actually want (like Minerva deluxe or Shuta).
I know everything is up for preorder in Japan. I mean, all collector figures go that route. So maybe they just stick to the orders and leave little extra – would make sense, when you consider how small the shops are AND how much new product is competing for space every week. I think turnover is king in retail, so why would they overstock anything at all? The most profit a product sees is right at launch, and while some items go up in value, I think the majority actually decrease.
For example, why re-release Generations Windblade? I think a lot of collectors agree that the RID version is far superior. And there's a new TR version around the corner… but maybe Kabuki characters are very popular in Japan?

The problem with LG Maximus is the shipping. Having it available again at retail really only helps the Japanese collectors who missed out on the first run. Blurr however, will finally be mine. His LG deco is amazing and I must have it.
