I agree with Bumblebee, even if he is a figment of Screamer's imagination – Starscream, for the past what, 2-3 years, has done NOTHING Starscream-like. Y\'know, the stuff we liked the character for before he became a boring politician. Worse yet, whenever people laud him for his actual accomplishments, he just snaps at them. In a better written story, his lack of restraint and outbursts would have long ago caused him to be replaced. Just like how the Penguin often becomes the mayor of Gotham, only to lose it because he cannot let go of who and what he is at heart.
Instead of telling that story, or, ANY story, Barber has basically kept Starscream in the same place

And that is about as far as I got before I realized why your argument made no sense– it's because you're only reacting to the previews and are not actually reading the comic.

The expected rebuttal isn't coming because you don't deserve one. You're just flat out wrong.

How many issues ago was it when he started seeing Bumblebee? And he is still doing the same tired old rounds with him.he has changed bodies like, 3 times already since then. Guess that will happen again when he gets a new toy.

You can see why I no longer read anything but Lost Light from IDW. I mean, Shane McCarthy, Mike Costa… they could at least make me rage against the stupidity of their stories. Barber? I just fall asleep from boredom and simply lost interest. So, congrats on that front, you did what neither All Hail Megatron or smarmy Spike's adventures could accomplish.

NEVER. Barber probably forgot why he did this in the first place. Considering how long this charade has been going on, it's unlikely he will pull a Long Halloween on us and reveal how this was all a hologram from, I dunno, Lord Imperious Delerious or the Liege Maximo to control Starscream.

The TF annual makes it pretty clear this is the actual Bumblebee communicating with Starscream. BB is alive in the singularity and verbally responded to Starscream.

Can we somehow get Roberts a co-writer though? Maybe Scott and a senior writer? Someone who can curtail Roberts' worldbuilding / aggressively-socialist narrative.

Please don\'t give us any more highly detailed close-ups of Starscream\'s face, goddamn.

I hope that it's revealed that Blast Off's romantic interest in Onslaught is an invention of Starscream's, and when the truth is revealed; Blast Off is disgusted with Starscream for manipulating him.
