Pics are surfacing around the web of a new 2-pack featuring Titans Return clones. Fastlane and Pounce are already included in the Titans Return box sets, so we now have confirmation of Cloudraker on the Autobot side and Wingspan on the Decepticon side to finish the set. Where these two will show up is unknown at the moment. Read on to check the pics and stay tuned for more details!

The set is starting to hit pretty regularly at the Walgreens in my area.
Dark Skull
Walgreens still has theirs at $19.99. I ordered two and got free shipping
Purple Heart
I got mine a month or so ago thanks to @Kukaahi Glad everyone else has the chance to pick one up though. I’m tired of exclusives being rare and hard to find. I’d also put Wingspan down best legends of TR.

If Walgreens shipping is too expensive, sellers have been competing on Amazon.com and dropping prices. The set is now $25 from third-party sellers, many of which have Prime Shipping.

Finally!
Any coupon codes still working there? I recall there being some around Black Friday..

The Titans Return clones 2-pack is now available for purchase on Walgreens.com for $19.99!

Well, I finally found the Clones 2-pack. It was located in a "Holiday Shop" display, alongside other Walgreens toy exclusives like the Marvel Legends Human Torch. Also, it looks like TFs are 25% off at Walgreens, so I got it for $13.49. Very happy to get this, and on sale to boot. Now, there's no reason to set foot in Walgreens until the next exclusive…

You might not pay more than $10 each, but the only way you're getting them (the other two not at Walgreens) for $10 each is if you find the two $100 box sets, at retail price. Then, they work out to $10 for the Clone…
GR1ML0CK
No way I’m paying more than $10 each. Guess I’ll keep em for a bit then sell them
Tenebre
Yeah, you can only get them in the Siege on Cybertron and Chaos on Velocitron sets, which are now sold out (I think?). A better option would be to take the Hasbro set back to Walgreens and get the Takara sets. Takara is releasing a 2-pack of the Autobot Clones and a 2-pack of the Decepticon Clones (which is how it should have been done stateside). But if you had no intention of getting the Clones in the first place, you might not want to spring for the Takara sets, which will cost you close to 80 bucks.
I loved the G2 boxsets, but you're right, there were too many at once. It's a shame we'll probably never get a G2 Devastator repaint of the CW molds.
Fenrys
The funny thing is that it was only the straight repaint box sets that sold poorly which is something I would have thought would have been apparent from the get go. I’d have released The CW sets in this order
G2 superion
Victorion
G2 menasor
Computron
G2 bruticus
Liokaiser
That way it wasn’t an immediate glut of repaints. They may have sold better with better spacing

It's also possible that Hasbro's course correction was a reaction to vendors not wanting to commit to the box sets for the same reasoning that tigatron2002 laid out.
Fenrys
Yea, I don’t think I’m any way the arcee and grotusque were thrown together, I fact their remolding suggests they weren’t. Nautica got some, metalhawk got a face, arcee and grotusque got a lot more remolding and that may be because their boxsets got cancelled before being finalized and the deluxes got a bump in budget because of it
TyrantGalvatron
Makes a lot of sense.
Fenrys
See I think the sequence of events goes further back, lines are planned out roughly a year in advance so the way I see it is this
Cw g2 boxsets come out
Cw liokaiser, victorion and computron come out, hasbro sees cw g2 sets selling at clearance prices
Tr first two boxsets are already in production so hasbro decides to course correct on the second 2 not realizing it was only the g2 sets that didn’t really sell well
GR1ML0CK
I got this not realizing that. Super lame

I'm a little skeptical of the speculation regarding the cancellation of the missing boxsets.
A ton of planning goes into these things. I work in an industry where the packaging components alone for mass produced products take months of design and then actual printing.
I find it hard to believe that in a matter of only 3-6 months Hasbro was able to reverse course on the remaining box sets, scrap the originally planned packaging components, design all new packaging components, wait for the new packaging components to be printed and delivered, and marketed the new formats to the different outlets that they were being sold at in such a short period of time. The Logistics just don't fit at all.
Going back to the Packaging components, the inside of the boxes for Arcee and Grotusque were far too elaborate for something that needed to be thrown together at relatively the last minute (or so the speculation says)
Fenrys
Exactly. Personally I hope hasbro keeps putting out boxsets like these, maybe keep it to one or two a year, but they really felt like mass release botcon type sets along with the last 3 cw boxsets
TyrantGalvatron
Logical speculation. But not exactly a smoking gun.
Short answer: No official confirmation.
Fenrys
Two more big box sets were never officially confirmed, but it is a logical conclusion to draw.
Each of the big box sets had an associated tech spec stat, we got two of four
Each big box set had a diecast titanmaster, clone, deluxe, voyager and leader (one of which combines with another leader figure)
We ended up getting all four diecast titanmasters, all four clones and two deluxe exclusives. The two diecast titanmasters that were packed with deluxes have the remaining two tech spec attributes associated with them, logically making them and their deluxe packins part of the “cancelled” boxsets. Likewise it’s also logical to assume godbomber would have been one of the leaders because otherwise why release the Ginrai mold.
