Via TFW2005 member Keldroc, we’ve got word that the Toys R Us exclusive Transformers The Last Knight Deluxe figures have hit US retail. Megatron (a remold of the 2013 Deluxe Megatron from the Generations line) and Skullitron (a remold of The Last Knight Deluxe Steelbane) were sighted in the La Cienega TRU in Los Angeles.
Happy hunting Transformers fans!

Just found DLX Megatron and DLX Skullitron in Peoria, Illinois. There was one Skullitron (which I picked up) and 2 Megatrons. Also found a Supreme Cybertron, but there is no way I am going to be paying $160 for a repaint of an already good figure.
Edit: I noticed that on my Skullitron, the joints seem a lot tighter and sturdier. So maybe this means hasbro has got the message and will/already has fixed this issue with Steelbane.

I'm a fool. I know where the deco "variant" for Skullitron is from… the leaked European packaging stock photo we saw a while back.
Compare, again:
United States/Australian/Canadian/Latin American/Asian packaging

Interesting about the instructions. But there is Deception branding on the box. There's a Deception symbol in the circle in the top left corner on the back of the box. All my other TLK 'cons also have the Deception symbol there and all my TLK Autobots have an Autobot symbol there.

When I saw him in store, there were four of them and they were all painted differently. I'm assuming they must be hand-painted. But they weren't this radically different. It looks like the painter got creative on this one.

Well that's interesting. More fodder for the variant collectors! (or just wrong photos used).

So huh.
Megatron and Skullitron are listed at the US Toys"R"Us website now, but they use a different stock photo for Skullitron's robot mode than the one previously seen at Toys"R"Us Australia and Toys"R"Us Singapore. Aside from the different poses, Skullitron's deco is different too.
Compare: Toys"R"Us Australia/Singapore left, Toys"R"Us US right.

I'm not surprised. Steelbane himself hasn't hit wide distribution in the States. I doubt Hasbro has officially "heard" the figure has poor tolerances yet, let alone had time to fix up a retool.

GIMMIE DAT MEGATRON! (and maybe Skullitron as well!)

From a friend who does some work for Hasbro and had handled him earlier. His article on TF Wiki also notes the looseness is still there. Plus, I actually went back to TRU and bought him today on the way home, having thought it over, and yeah, he's loose as hell and can barely stand up. He was also $19.99, same as the other movie Deluxes.
There's no faction branding on the box but his instructions have red highlighting like an Autobot's.

Saw these both in TRU Australia this week, as well as the Optimus 2-pack.
They were mixed among all the other movie deluxes, but locally TRU has them priced $5 more, presumably because they're "exclusives".

Originally here's what his packaging showed: Knight of Cybertron with a Decepticon emblem. Skullitron was labelled a 'Con since he was rotted and mangled, another Hasbro ploy to fool us. I think the Knights should have their own faction symbol or none.

Awesome, that'll make things easier.

Considering they are called an "assortment" at TRU Australia's website, I assume they do.

Does anyone know if they share a case?

Kind of hoping when I stop at the beginning of July I find these two and the Optimus 2pack otherwise the only way I could obtain these exclusives would be through their website… But hold up, why would they want to sell these on there its not like some people who don't have a local Toys R Us who would love to have these.
Crts
A lot of people are saying we have only seen wave 1 in the US, but my local walmart has had wave 2 deluxes one time. I picked them all up.
I did not know they weren\'t popping up in many places. Hopefully we see them soon.

Is Skullitron branded as an Autobot or a Decepticon on the box? You know its either one or the other with Hasbro, no gray area.

It's kinda crazy that they decided to use full-on boxes for TLK (maybe they're just easier to recycle? I dunno), not that I really mind, but they do seem overly large. Then again, that Megatron is a somewhat small toy so maybe it's a bad point of reference.

Just waiting for Infernicus…

The steelbane mold is pretty terrible despite he cool looking robot mode, id recommend staying away from it or getting it on sale
