Thanks to Weibo User 爆料人小明, we have with us a very good look at the in-package image of Transformers: The Last Knight Toys “R” Us Exclusive Mission To Cybertron subline Legion Class 5-Bot Combiner Infernocus.

In TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT, new evil rises in a battle where the fate of Earth hangs in the balance. In the dark depths of the universe, five revolting INFERNOCON demons seethe with fiery strength to protect the mysterious sorceress, QUINTESSA. When threats approach, they combine to form a cindering force of infernal fury—the menacing INFERNOCUS. The MISSION TO CYBERTRON is on with the 5-BOT COMBINER INFERNOCUS Figure, featuring a translucent QUINTESSA figure. The pack features five INFERNOCON figures including SKULK, RUPTURE, INFERNOCON THRASH, GORGE and GLUG. Combine them to form an INFERNOCUS figure, inspired by the character from TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT. MISSION TO CYBERTRON figures feature CYBERTRONIAN glyphs and mission cards that can be deciphered with an online decoder at Transformers.com/MissionToCybertron. The five INFERNOCON figures convert in 4 to 14 steps and also comes with two exciting weapon accessories. Available exclusively at Toys”R”Us.

Saw the Legion Hot Rod on the Walmart site. Man, that thing is nothing more than a NuRiD Sideswipe remold. Same exact transformation.

  • Deluxe Class Hot Rod was first found at retail in Taiwan, followed by sightings in Singapore and Hong Kong, all of them as non-exclusive general retail releases.
  • In the United Kingdom, he was found at Asda stores, and is also listed on their website.
  • For the United States, it seemed for a while as if he would never be released, especially after listings for a general retail version of Hot Rod (in "Premier Edition" packaging) were found in Toys"R"Us computers and on Amazon US. Despite that, he's listed on the Walmart US website, and people who ordered him confirmed having received the "Autobots Unite" version, complete with "Walmart exclusive" sticker. Thus far, he hasn't been found in stores.
  • For Finland, Prisma's website has a listing for Deluxe Hot Rod, but again it's a placeholder without any photos.
  • Online retailers Robot Kingdom (Hong Kong), The Chosen Prime (United States) and Kapow Toys (United Kingdom) are also listing him, all of them having obtained their stock from Asia. An odd case is TFSource, which is identifying him as a "limited edition exclusive" despite the packaging photo depicting the general retail version seen on Amazon.

So I'm hearing that there's a quality issue with the dragon heads, like they break upon open from the package.

I hope when I get mine it won't break

dragonstorm looks great, both of them have at least one dragon hand/fist

wonder if the flame effect from the leader class megatron can somehow fit in the dragon mouth

Hmm. Disappointing. I wasn't expecting an overly complex transformation, but I was expecting more than "Turn THIS one into a dragon, turn THAT one into a snake and then slide him in like a hot dog in a bun."

I'll still get it because the beast mode is awesome, even with its Cheeto heads, but man…

Would you have preferee they were leader class each and Dragonstorm was Ultra or Supreme class? I personally would like a larger DS, especially the wings, I'd also prefer a more screen accurate color sceme, a more triangular upper body for Dragonicus and less boxy but meh, I'll get them and pray Wei Jiang will make an OS. I saw a post on FB saying that if enough people email in request's for Dragonstorm than they would make an OS of him so let's see if we can make it happen.View attachment 27779059

At least they're less than retail price, so there's that.
