In a callback to the original protect and destroy posters from the first Transformers film back in 2007, a new similar poster has surfaced for Transformers: The Last Knight, but with a little twist: Above Optimus Prime is not the word “Protect,” but the word “Destroy.”
Although the “Destroy” theme has been used before, the design of the poster is vastly different than the posters that have been seen in the past for the franchise. Optimus Prime is present in black and white in front of a simple, white background. The only color on the poster is some red text and a red flare behind Optimus.
Thanks to Instagram user tf.daily for the photo and sound off on the TFW2005 boards with your thoughts on the poster!
I think that right one for Megatron would be "Control".
Very very cool
I will laugh if Megatron is used for the Protect version.
I'm betting Bumblebee will be the character for that anyway
Made my out cutout and cleaned it up as best I could, tried adding the purple eyes and it actually works pretty well.

I don't think it's fair to blame monochrome for that font!
d'ya know what I mean! Red Tuna thinks he's all that because he's knows some Photoshop shortcuts. But give me a 5 year old iphone and LiNE Photo, and suddenly he ain't shit!!
Thank you! I'm waiting for your reaction video!
Yep, ten times better

CRUSH. KILL. DESTROY. SWAG.
Finally, something I'd be willing to hang on my wall!
I think it might've been a bit better with the eyes colored purple though. Anyone wanna try and 'shop that?
Awesome throwback to the first film's advertising, I can see why some fans may be..less than pleased with it, but I dig it.
Did my own quick crop & touch-up…

That is awesome, I love the colors (or lack thereof). I hope they sell physical copies of these at some point.
Here's an amateur cutout before the HD version gets released.
Need that poster. Yes.
Just "Nemesis" Prime.
Finally a good poster. That would make a wicked Steelbook cover.
An inverse of the marketing for TF1 where "Destroy" was used for the Cons. How fitting.
