Transformers: The Last Knight Leader Megatron Sighted At UK Retail

A great surprise for UK fans. 2005 Boards user timelord10 let us know that Transformers: The Last Knight Leader Megatron Was Sighted At UK Retail. 

The figure was found at Toymaster store in Staffordshire, UK and it has a price of £54.99 (66.79 Dollars aproximately).

timelord10 has shared pictures in package and a comparison with TR Deluxe Triggerhappy and AOE Voyager Evasion Mode Optimus Prime. Happý hunting for all UK fans.

I tried to find an appropriate Thread to post in about Leader Class The Last Knight Megatron and this seems about the best I could find.

I got him recently and I like him fine – though he has some tolerance and design issues- but there is one thing I really do not like at all which is the big gap in his left forearm so I was wondering did anyone make him some gap fillers ?

I missed all preorders from japan for Megatron in amiami and HLJ. Any chance another site opens preorders? Are there differences between Hasbro and Takara versions?

Head's up! Pre-orders for TLK-19, the Takara Tomy release of the mold is up on amiami at 5,120 yen~

Any idea how much shipping would be to USA? Have you ordered fromantic them before?

Reckon they're only selling them as a pair cos they know no one will want Optimus? Lol

The Voyager class figure is physically more screen accurate than the Leader, the Leader has a ton of back kibble, the hollow arm issue and an oversized fusion Canon, it\'s saving graces include the battle mask gimmick, wrist swivels and flame effects. If only the Voyager had the battle mask and wrist swivels, it be a no brainier as to which to pick, I personally will only buy 1 or the other, not a money issue, just no point in having 2 of the exact same character etc rather have the single best version. So what do you guys think? Which is better, Leader or Voyager?

I'm just getting the voyager because he looks better. The leader's proportions look kinda funky in robot mode.

The first Wave of a movieline always sells really well. The problem comes when the stores restock of that Wave 1… by that point nost people who wanted that wave already have it and as such they've got a bunch of shelfwarmers and are less enthusiastic about ordering the later waves and they become harder to get. It happens every movie (or atleast it does around where I live).

Well seeing as wave 2 has already started showing up, hasbro MAY have learned their lesson.

That's the thing though, the leader may have the fusion cannon on the wrong side for of the arm, forearm gaps, and the wings on the back, but the voyager is actually less accurate in terms of the actual robot silloughette, and having part of the legs be made up by the wings.

I'd say voyager for screen accuracy and price. However the leader has a lot more features and just seems more fun. So leader for size voyager for accuracy keep In mind if you get the voyager you'll have to get the awesome voyager prime to face off against him if you get the leader you get a '5$ more then the original' expensive repaint. So there's that. Personally I'm getting both

I like the leader more for the size, play features, and the fact that it doesn't have feet sticking out under the alt mode wings. I'm also not a fan of the obvious plane wings wrapped around the legs of the voyager. Really clashes with the rest of the design.

I'm actually really surprised to say I'm seeing the same thing. Even the gimmicky stuff is flying off shelves here. Apparently I severely underestimated how hyped people are for this movie. Even the AOE Bumblebee repaint might as well have been a ghost for how hard it is to find around here.

But this line IS SELLING WELL!!! My manager has been complaining for nearly two weeks that we've got almost no transformers on the shelf. Same goes for every Walmart that I've been to. Usually they have no voyagers and about half a dozen deluxes.

Yeah, even with the ridiculous price hike, all my Walmart has are a Berserker, Barricade and a few one steps. Even the legions and gimmick toys are selling.

Y'know, I'm really surprised by how good all of Megatron's toys for this movie are. Even the gimmick ones look nice.

I see what you mean. Yeah I haven't seen much either but my faith in retail being well stocked anymore has been gone for years.
