Swiss online stores such as Spielplanet have begun to put up pages with stock images of upcoming Transformers releases. On show here are official images of the Robots in Disguise Stunticons Team Combiner set. Notably, Motormaster here is mistransformed in robot mode, with Menasor’s head flipped up. There is also a lot of flat grey plastic on show which hopefully will look a little less plain in person. Share your thoughts in the linked discussion thread.

Hooold on there, Bilge Stinkwater(go watch the movie again…)
When you do that, hold a Generations/Combiner Wars/Titans Returns figure next to it… heh heh heh.
ZapRowsdower
Exactly. Bang on. Correct.
You guys need to look at these from a smaller point of view. No, smaller. No. Think about someone who's less than 4' tall.
I had my doubts about the RID Crash Combiners, but they are pretty fun in-hand. They don't have a ton of articulation… so what? Neither did a lot of G1 toys. They actually combine well, and they're quick and fun to transform. So yes, 5 yr olds DO like these – I can vouch for that. (I can't say that 5 yr olds would buy these over a Batman toy…
But that's a Hasbro problem with making a decent media to get kids hooked!
).
The articulation on this RID Menasor (and his bricky limbs) does look kind of bad… but it might still be an excellent toy, simply cause it'll be quick and easy to transform. And unlike most 1-step garbage, this guy can actually combine (so the 1-step looking limbs have an excuse for being kind of lame).
I think the point IS the "b*tching". A lot of these people are actual customers – when your customers complain, you usually listen; you guys are just laughing and insulting them for not liking your (Hasbro's) product. I mean, I assume your indignant tone toward criticism is because you guys work for Hasbro. Why else would you argue about someone's right to complain when they don't like something? Are they ruining your sundae or something? (My advice is to enjoy whatever weird flavor and not worry about other people's opinions about your ice cream!
).
Even if these were intended for an exclusively under-10 demographic, I think adult opinions on these matter:
1) The parents buy the toys, not the kids (so adult appeal is actually important)
2) Adults buy a lot of RID product for themselves, not just for their kids
3) Complaints are a great way to get product feedback (provided they're a little constructive and not just moaning)
On the other hand, the most worthless comment on a board is one which simply derides another comment for being negative. Because all negativity is bad. Fine. If negativity (i.e. complaining) is universally immoral, please explain how to properly judge a product whilst only using POSITIVE comments? Oh, I know! You get hired by Hasbro's marketing team!

That is a fair point. I wasn't considering that his main point is that they were worst than rescue bots, nor do I agree with it. It was more in regards to their price point in comparison to the older figures in the same class.
Should have been more clear on that, but one gets lazy typing on mobile.
MegaMoonMan
Holy god these look awful. Rescue bots are awesome super complex compared to these turds.
If the limbs were at least as complex as legends figures and they knew how to transform their own stuff, it might not look so bad.
Mizzinno
I was interested, but not anymore.
T-Hybrid
I can tell user names apart. You're playing devil's advocate for a person who's argument has no merits in reality.
It's one thing to argue that the RiD Warrior figures aren't as complex as older figures, but saying that in defense of someone who's arguing they're "worse" than Rescue Bots is a waste of energy.
PlumCelebrate
I think the guy you're fighting with is the other guy. Merely stating my opinion on the quality.
Hardshell
Dragstrip and his mold brother looks ok at best… As for everyone else, Very disapointing! MoterMaster should be black with some grey/gray and the other 2 are well below what i expected! But i might buy the set to do some minor work/paint on them to make them Just a step above Lack-luster!
T-Hybrid
"Worse than Rescue Bots" is hyperbole to the max. You know that.
Not to mention the idiocy of calling a toyline for the youngest children (Rescue Bots) crappy compared to the Generations line aimed at older crowds.
It'd be like calling Duplo crap because you're 30 years old and buying the Ideas sets.
scottywan82
For real! Wow, what a cranky group of sourpuss old farts.
PlumCelebrate
I own quite a few warrior figures and there's something about them that makes them feel a step below, in terms of the way they feel and transformation.
Archon Shiva
These are amazing!
It's like they managed to condense thirty five years of transforming toys into one package. G1 articulation, Happy Meal paint apps, early 2000s alt modes, Bayformer faces and plastic colors…
Collectors should be all over these!

Hi. You must be new. Welcome to tfw2005.
gabumon
the rid legions are excellent.
T-Hybrid
Well here's someone who hasn't actually checked out a Warrior figure.
Or any of the unconventional Legion figs (Groundpounder, Clampdown, Springload, etc)
Bumblejazz
So many people bitching about something they're not going to buy.
gabumon
these look great for younger kids who want a combiner and are at a price parents will consider.
i really like the rid15 toy line. it has lots of character and the toys are fun.
i'll take rid15 and Generations CW/TR over "grown up" TLK movie toys any day. *my own opinion.
actually we are pretty lucky to have 5 concurrent TF lines to follow! (RB, RiD, Gens and movie and Masterpiece ) what other fanbase can claim that!?! Hasbro is doing pretty awesome.
Prime Wylde
Agreed fully. As someone who doesn't watch the show or even collect the toys i still keep up. In hand reviews have constantly surprised me at their posebility and fun aesthetic.
I really want a voyager cyclonus though, and that dlx ratchet that just came out. Best Ratchet in a while.
Prime Wylde
Such a shame, i was at least hoping for something akin to beast hunters terrorcons.
worldsgreatest
It's a matter of taste, but the RID toys have been pretty stellar across the board. If not across the Deluxe price point, then almost as solid in Minicons, one-steps, and Legion.
These do look bad. The line has not been though.
