I won Valvotron by submitting my information on a 3 x 5 card. It arrived a couple of weeks ago. Have it listed for sale on ebay and local sites. Also won the lunchbag, but it has not arrived yet.

The very first day the website went up. I went to Walmart at lunchtime and bought the oil, scanned the receipt when I got back to work and uploaded that day. (I finally changed my oil last week, lol). So in theory, mine would be one of the first shipped. Once it arrives I'll let you guys know.

When did you put the rebate in?
SoundwaveSuperior
Dang, mine's still processing. Good to hear that they're starting to ship, though.
BenjaminXavier
So i logged into the tracker website today and the status changed to "mailed" with a date of 6/28. No email update, and who knows how long it'll take to get here, but at least its shipped now.
Woo. woo. so much less excitement now.
BenjaminXavier
Cool, thanks for the info. It looks like us rebate folk will have to wait a while longer.

I did not file a rebate, there was a sweepstakes to win the figure announced a few days before the "free with purchase" was announced.
I entered the free way (mailing in an index card with my info) so I didn't have an account or anything for them to tell me I won. I heard nothing from Valvoline until I got home one day and there was a box sitting on my porch. There's a little note in the box saying congratulations on winning.
What's really nice is that I just moved and it showed up the last night we were at that house.
BenjaminXavier
Did you file the rebate? Was there an actual "sweepstakes" as well?
Did you get an email when it shipped?
Thanks
Blot
I just got mine from the sweepstakes too! He's awesome! He's also bigger than I thought (bigger than a deluxe).

Just got mine through the sweepstakes as well. I also agree not bad for the price of a stamp, or maybe I sent him two or three.
Also if you change your own oil like I do they have Valvoline at Walmart for about 25 bucks give or take which is not bad for 5 quarts of oil and a free toy.
SoundwaveSuperior
Ugh, mine is still "Processing," and has been since May 3rd. I called on Friday and they said it's in the final stages of processing, so hopefully it ships soon.

Congrats anyone else receive one yet from either the contest or the 5 quart deal?

Wait, this doesn't even transform? Loooooooooooooooool

that's dope as hell. the packaging really improves it.

Awww that's cute!
You know, 5 quarts of oil isn't really that much, for all you US fans…

Lucky you, congrats on winning! Hope others including myself win one too!

I received Valvotron from the sweepstakes today. He's pretty dang awesome for the price of a stamp.
I enjoy that his clamshell is the shape of an oil jug, his implied alt-mode.

You only have to buy the oil for the promotion, though. You don't have to pay for an oil change.
Diecast G2
I already change my own oil and use full synthetic, but Valvoline isn't my brand.
I'm due for an oil change in the next week, but do I really want a toy enough to change the oil I use?
