Merry Christmas everyone! Entertainment Weekly got the exclusive scoop at 8 new Transformers: The Last Knight Motion Posters. The motion posters feature 8 fully rendered CGI looks at Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Hound, Hot Rod, Barricade, Sqweeks, Megatron, and our first official look at Cogman! No visible car parts are seen on Cogman himself so it’s hard to say what alt mode he’ll be taking at the moment, but seeing Hot Rod do some Jazz type breakdance and flipping his guns distracts us from it. Other than that all the characters look great and it’s nice seeing something other than Bumblebee and Sqweeks artwork.
Don’t forget as we get closer to the official release date for The Last Knight, marketing will begin to shift into overdrive. Check on TFW2005 to stay up to date and sound off on what you think!

Likely. I think this will mostly be the case, but it's hard to be 100% certain.
Drift got concept art and a vehicle reveal. Crosshairs got concept art revealed. Onslaught got a vehicle reveal. I could see those guys playing major roles and/or being in spin-offs. I think Grimlock will have his moments as will Dragonstorm, but I don't think they will get as much screen time as the poster robots. I do think the poster cast will undoubtedly be the bulk of the main robots at the very least.

A small change, but a big improvement. Hopefully the actual character in motion looks a bit more like this than the very wide-eyed expression he seems to always have on.

Anyone else but me think these guys that got motion posters are the main cast with everyone else (Bots and Cons) as the secondary cast and or those that could and will die?

I actually like the eyes of his official look. Red's edit is cool but I think his edit makes Hot Rod look a bit less "alive" of that makes sense? I think his official eye looks gives him character.

That would make him look so much better. I don't have a problem with Hot Rods' look, but I do have to admit the eyes are kinda odd.

I think it's clear that figure is approximated from either early concept art or not the best quality art. Look at how many odd ways the ancillary material of TF1 depicted those designs.

Not sure how you guys a getting a nose or a mouth from that picture.
His Super Deformated Figure show him with a pacifier/bee style mouth. Granted its a caricature and simplistic design of the live action version.
Does have a Mortal Kombat Ninja vibe to it. Wonder if this is his battle mask or real face.

Yeah, the only thing really making his face look weird are the huge eyes. Otherwise it's actually fairly normal, just that the orange across the middle messes with the initial perception. It's almost like he lacks anything under his eyes to define them more.

HELL TO NO! Looks too much like bumblebee, but Hot Rod has grown on me. I'm ready for his legend class to come out.

I'm thinking a car radio, since he's (rumored, right?) to be the Citroen DS seen in London, but the Citroen DS radio is rectangular and I haven't seen a car radio that's round. There have been some screw ups like this before. I'm looking at everything I can on the Citroen to see if I find anything similar.

Anyone know what that silver thing is on the top of Hot Rods head? Looks like something digital.
EDIT: Looking at it more I think it's a temperature gauge. Also looks like there's a part that he can turn.

His head design is still confusing, I don't think he has a nose and mouth, unless something opens up and reveals 100s of jagged teeth (which would be terrifying and awesome
I'm slowly liking the head design, but for now all I see is eyes… If someone else can see a nose and mouth please highlight them because I'm lost XD
