Official You Tube page of Hasbro’s Transformers franchise has published a mysterious new teaser video announcing a possible new video game.
Title and Official Description (translated from Spanish):
“Transformers: The destiny is in your hands
Very soon you will be the PROTAGONISTS of something very big … The fate of Transformers is in your hands!”
Judging by the color-changing eyes mimicking Optimus Prime from the Superbowl trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight, this new teaser may very well be for some product (mostly interactive) tied to the movie. Best guess would be the recently hinted mobile game, which may arrive in conjunction with the movie/toy release.

Turns out it's not a game.

WOO HOO! NOT A GAME!

How is this thread not dead? The movie already came out and there still hasn't even been an announcement for a TLK game. Even if they couldn't finish in time for the movie's release, they at least would have announced it if there was one. There is zero chance one is coming.

From above.

In my perspective they did character specific levels so that people will experience a more linear story. You get to BE the character and experience what "he experiences" on the last days of cybertron

For one it was shorter in run time to the first game. I wasn't fan of how they made character specific campaign levels in FOC. It felt like, "what gimmick specific are we going to throw at the player". It made the narrative hop around and slow down at times. I liked that you're going to be on adventure with these characters from a beginning to an end narrative. FOC just felt disjointed.
In the first you had the choice of picking from four(or was it three?) characters to play through the levels how you wanted. Which made it feel more akin to Gears of War 1-3(not that joke GOW4), which if I'm not mistaken, had online co-op too like Gears. They removed grenade tossing.
While it did have improved game play aspects and minor graphical improvements it felt like to a shallower experience to the first game. I played a lot of the multiplayer in FOC, but I did miss the booby trapping of weapons when you died if another player tried to pick it up. I'm sure I'm forgetting other things. I haven't really thought about it in a while. I still enjoy the FOC a lot and wish there was a true third game, but Hasblow and Activision have no plans of doing it unfortunately. Oh and the on disc Disc Locked Content was a big turn off. The dinobot destructor and the massive fury packs being locked off on the disc until purchased was malarkey.
Again I like the game I just wish they didn't cut certain aspects out that was in the first one. I'm sure there are sequels you guys didn't enjoy as much as the first, or felt like a downgrade in aspects. I've been playing it on XB1/PS4 but it seems like the online community is dead.

Actually I'm curious about this too as I LOVE FoC. It still stands as my Favorite TF game.

How was FOC's campaign phoned in?ROTDS was so-so(shit story,ok gameplay but escalation did it for me,unlocked all bots in 24 hours 2/3 years ago on ps3)
But FOC?Just curious may you tell me why you don't like FOC's campaign

Matt Tieger and some of the key people of WFC and FOC still work for HMS. You can see their names in every Call of Duty credits section under the studios that helped in the development.
BTW, this is not a game. Official Transformers Spain Facebook page posted the same video and apparently this is going to be some kind of community event only for Spain.
Purple Heart
They're still kicking, they helped with Destiny a bit. Everyone that worked on WFC and FOC was fired after Deadpool though.

Are…Are people aware that Highmoon Studios broke up years ago?
DinobotScorn
High Moon is gone dude… Sorry

It's definitely not an unpopular opinion. I rather have a sequel to Fall of Cybertron or Devastation than these half-baked movie console games. The only one that was truly worthwhile was the ROTF game and it ends there.
The Mad Demobot
You're asking too much from Activison. Destiny 2 is on its way here and that's all they care about. That's also why HMS is working on it and not a "Cybertron" sequel we all want. At best we get a sequel to Devastation as planned though the convoluted "Titans Return" money sink, or at worst they make a movie tie-in game to The Last Knight from the creators of the last TF console game.
As unpopular opinion Devastation and Fall of Cybertron were, I want true sequels of these games rather than a repeat of the garbage that was Rise of the Dark Spark that had zero thought put into it.
TF Bumblebee
Unfortunately, yes. That's the utter truth.

Yeah that would be great, but I just don't see them making the long term investment in a project like that. They want the quick buck.
