Here’s something very interesting thanks to the recent Transformers: The Last Knight Tiny Turbo Changers Blind Bag Listing from UK.
Each individual bling bag contains a figure and a slip card. The illustration features a silhouette of a character card highly similar to the ones that comes with the RID Tiny Titans figures which includes a scan-able code for the mobile game app . Judging by this new information, we may expect to see an interactive mobile game similar to the highly rated Transformers: Robots In Disguise game app for Android and iOS.
Not too long ago, Hasbro filed for a Transformers: The Last Knight video game trademark. Lack of information during Toy Fair 2017 regarding a Console Game dismissed the possibility of such a game but this new info rekindled hopes for a TLK game in a mobile format.
Since its debut back in 2014, Transformers: Robots In Disguise mobile game received a quiet yet highly satisfied following thanks to the complete lack of micro-transactions and the offline nature of the game. The developer Marmalade Game Studio ensured that timely updates are pushed to each season of the show, updating with new information and characters to keep the fans satisfied. Thanks to its success, a spinoff game for Apple TV was also produced last year.
We would be highly delighted if Marmalade Game Studio is involved with the TLK project and retains the same level of quality as the RID Mobile Game App.
Beenox didn't make RotF, Luxoflux did and they were soon shut down afterwards.
That's a real shame maybe it is for the best, Rise of the dark spark was really not that great.
Noooooooooo rip console tf 2k17
"Fate is in your hands" seems like a dead giveaway that this is a mobile game. But still unsure. All signs point to this being a mobile game by Marmalade Game Studio.
News Post: New Transformers: The Last Knight Video Game Teased?
Mobile yes… not a console. Not from Hasbro Peru but from Portugal. They said there is an app. Just didn't specify what. We'll know in the coming days, I guess.
@SilverOptimus announced it.
This is terrible news. I'm still not giving up on hope though.
And TFW2005 hasn't reacted already? How reliable is your source?
Console, mobile or both?
The game is finally confirmed from Hasbro Peru! @daniel 97
Games take a looooonnnnnnnng time to develop. If there was going to be any kind of TF5 tie-in game, we would have heard about it a long time ago. There would have been an announcement, we would have had screen shots, there would have been beta testing (which we would have heard about), there would have been pre-orders already.
Even the little mobile apps, we get announcements and see screens a good half year or more before release.
There is no TF5 tie-in game.
I agree and I tell you what, a game produced by Activision and developed by Beenox=fantastic game. Take a look at the Amazing Spider-man 2.
What is confirmed?
The problem with WfC and FoC is that while good games have very uninspired gameplay. Plus ultimately sprinting removed most of the need to transform. Transformers games need more melee combat because the last shooters all played very typically. I'm surprised that no movie game has executions seeing as the characters in the film who done some pretty awesome things. It would be cool to punch into someone's chest and shoot their head off or slice their arm of and beat them with it. That's why RotF was so good; it did something different and the characters felt like they were unique while capturing the feel of the films.
Just received a word from Hasbro Portugal. Yes, there is an app involved (specific details were not given) and it's not just for Tiny Turbo Changers but for other figures as well. No console game was specified.
I'll get back to you with more details.
It doesn't have to be a tie-in game, just gives a story in the CU, that's all!
