We have a little update from our previous news post regarding Takara Tomy‘s Transformers: The Last Knight website.
It seems as though the site is treating us to CGI Package Art from the toy line.
The art showcases Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Barricade and Hound in various action poses.
Check ’em out, after the jump.

Those renders looks awesome, though I see once again Optimus once again has normal gauntlets instead of his knight ones. I wonder why sometimes he has them and other times he doesn't. Also seeing how much love Hound is getting with the advertisements pretty much destroyed any doubts of me thinking he wouldn't survive the film. I think it's safe to say that Hound won't be killed off in this film.
SPLIT LIP
Maybe Onslaught/Hooligan/Mowhawk found him?
primal789
Everyone's thoughts when we heard he's in this movie lol
RazorX3000
Speaking of which, didn't this cause him to be blind? How the hell did he manage to stumble around and get upgraded all while being blind?
JazzIsBeast
God, I really, REALLY hate these new designs.

The image was fine. But the point is Optimus's tyres did not become feet. They were probably positioned where his heels were like roller skates, but he did not use them as such.
So the question is, how is Hound's tyre-feet able to support his weight?
And thus another Decepticon ends up as Bee's visual counterpart.
First it was Soundwave, then Stinger, and now Barricade.
The TFDrawer
Oh ok didnt know that
SPLIT LIP
It's actually his tires splitting and folding over his tires. Trucks have two tires on each wheel in the back, and Optimus' rear wheels compressed the two tires into one tire width so his wheels didn't stick out so far from his legs. (every toy got around this by just giving him unrealistic truck wheels in back)
He got shot in the face repeatedly with AP rounds.
I'd wear a helmet, too.
HoneyPrime
Gorgeous. Prime has his blue eyes back too.

I never said they shouldn't have a large variety of apperances, just that I like the beast/preadorish look they used to have back in the day and that they shouldn't have abandoned the idea, at least with Barricade since I like him.
Oh and I don't believe he would've been recognizable, without his cop-features he just looks like a KSI drone.
daniel 97
Of course you won't know. I was reffering to an argument I had a week ago in a different thread about Bee's voice or should I say lack of…but anyways I still think they should've kept the predatory characteristics of the original Decepticons!
Galvatross
I am well aware that Lockdown and company are not Decepticons. My point was that just because a character is a villain or a member of a particular fraction it does not mean that the characters have to look monstrous or can't have a range of appearances. I think both Autobots and Decepticons should have more and less human-looking members.
And that second part doesn't matter; it's enough to show he's Barricade.
Livingdeaddan
100%!

Barricade you used to be sexy what happened!?
XD
I dig the body design I do, wish he had claws and the 'wings' on his shoulders always liked the tires on the wrist….but that face…or lack of. That's not even a humanoid face that's a BumbleBee face just like Hod Rod's. I seriously hope its a battle mask because I don't see how that is meant to be expressive and animated.
I get the whole 'Cons will finally be treated like people, too.' thing soundwaverulls said and I agree. The Decepticons are my favorite and it sucks that they get shown as one-dimensional target practice XD but that face still looks bug-like but with hardly any human like features.
But again….we haven't seen it animated so perhaps it will be alright. I hope…
Barricade is like the last surviving Con from film 1 (not including Megatron) The few remaining originals hold a special place in my heart lol I don't want him to have like one scene and it just be his death or just him getting his ass kicked. XD

I just explained what's wrong with the Decepticon designs, so I don't know what you're confused about.
geiriko
I think that's an evolution from Movie 1-3 Optimus – his tires also split in robot mode. Not into feet, but parts of the tires split. (not sure how I can explain this really, check the picture )
daniel 97
Why is change needed for some things and unecessary for others? Bumblebee shouldn't change but the cool-looking alien Decepticons should. I'm sorry this is all wrong and I strongly disagree.
QLRformer
I can't judge the designs, since we still haven't seen everyone. But on the whole I'm not happy that they're still doing more humanoid designs like in AOE, I just hope they get the transformations and vehicle parts all right.
Bee and Optimus Prime – nothing too new, but good enough designs.
Barricade – I like the knuckledusters, but I find his original 2007 design to be more menacing.
Hound – I just noticed that the tyres split into feet. Does that even work? And how can he carry all that dakka on his body without it banging together and going boom?
I hope the other transformers will be more encouraging.

I have to agree with Music on this. While I don't have a problem with the concept of animalistic Decepticons, in and of itself, the movies have always used it as a way to detach the audience from them, which is by far my biggest criticism towards these films. Transformers is meant to treat its main villains the same as its heroes, a positive tradition born from the need to get kids to want their toys. The Decepticon characters are often the best parts of the franchise and the films' dehumanization of them is perhaps the biggest crime towards the franchise they've committed. While I'm not too fond of AOE's overly humanoid Autobots, it was used as a visual statement of the fact that the films were finally returning to treating them as people and I hope that the more humanoid Decepticons implies that, in TLK, the 'Cons will finally be treated like people, too.
