Via the @X-Hara Twitter stream, we have a nice selection of images of a trio of licensed Transformers garage kits being offered at Winter Wonderfest 2017. These fan made garage kits are offered under Wonderfest’s special “one day” license for fan works at the event, and there have been various kits over past years. First up in this year’s offerings is Metalhawk, which is a re-release of last year’s kit and looks spot on to the character’s appearance in the Masterforce animation. Second, there is a Starscream kit, based on the Generation 1 Starscream design and standing roughly the height of a Voyager. Lastly there is Holi from Transformers Victory, known as Stakeout in the west. This Micromaster is done at approximately Legend size and even features the ability to let a Titan Master ride inside his vehicle mode.
As limited run items only available at Wonderfest, these are all going to be hard to acquire and are quite likely to need finishing or assembly once in hand. You can live vicariously through the images of these guys attached to this post.
Blitz.
I actually really like Metal Hawk but I really wonder about StarScream.

Thanks for the alt mode image! I couldn't find one on google images haha. So yeah, the alt mode is doody. His bot mode is pretty solid though!

Collecting is not easy…nor cheap!! I wouldn't be surprised at all to see one of these closer to the 100USD, let's face it (*IF* they come up for sale..).

It seems that this year's offerings are a bit less spectacular compared to those in previous years.
That Starscream is awful.
So is the micromaster.
Metalhawk looks passable, but I have no attachment to the character.

Oh man, I wish I could own Metalhawk and Holi. I'm down for working on resin kits, but just getting ahold of these would be very difficult, let alone the fact that it would be very expensive.
Fenrys
Yep, he's on one of the boxsets, which after selling the ones I'm not interested in will still come out cheaper than this one
G1StarSaber468
Because they are resin casted model kits…. and third party is mostly exclusive to online
Hopefully you do realize he isn't a standard retail release, but then again neither is this
Fenrys
No need for this after the unveiling of the titan returns metalhawk
MartyFeeb
Your avi is deliciously creepy. Kudos.

Like this actually. I'm guessing they figured out the alt mode after the robot mode was already finished.

I need that Holi

The altmode for Metalhawk is actually an improvement on his G1/Masterforce release. He was a pretender remember

These might come out, much later, as KOs. I think a garage kit of both Cyclonus and Wheelie came out as third party KOs some time ago.

I kinda like the robot modes, but the alt modes looks awful IMO. Is that what Metalhawks alt mode was supposed to look like???
Black Convoy
That Hori would look perfect next to MP Star Saber.

I like that Stakeout. A line of Micromasters would be nice; a bit more articulation and mix of the original Micromasters with other characters reduced to Micro-scale. They have started making all these city bots; Micromasters are a perfect fit.

I'd love to have that Metalhawk, he looks great (well in robot mode, alt mode not so much) but ain't gonna happen it seems, don't want to pay a fortune for it. Holi looks pretty nice too.

>Unlicensed fan-made third party toys are easily available on every major etailer
>Licensed fan-made garage kits are impossible to get unless you were at the event
WHY IS IT THIS WAY
Michael Payton
I'd love to get this Metalhawk, but I'll happily settle for the Titans Return Metalhawk.

retail at the fest was 10000Y. Even if one ever popped up on ebay, it won't be anywhere close to $30.
