I'm not sure there's a problem to be solved.

Bro.all I'm saying you don't see 3 year olds looking for movie Transformers unless on odd ocasions..But for the most part, meaning I've never in none of the city's I live in saw any 3 year looking for movie especially nor one step versioms..And us fans giving out son something is a little different then the point I wss originally making. Which us the retail chains help it so the real fan whatever age the one that wants transformers that transform, looses out because it takes up real estate in the isles. Amd when it sells slow it can go bad for the fans.. anyways I wasn't starting the convo yo argue with somebody we both have points coming from 2 different reasons. I've been on your side arguing about 3 steps so let's just drop it bro it's not a big deal to keep talking about it to me. You cant solve the problem & neither can i.

Well to be fair like I mentioned in one of these posts, I bought the AOE One Step line buy I find them to get in the way of getting some of the figures we used to get in the retail stores that aren't there there once the movie swag that doesn't sell stays in the way. So I'd rather be without them. If they could make them with posability, even just some elbows, shoulders, and head them it be a start they CAN do it so idont know why the don't but I bet it's alot to have to do with why they don't sell as much as things like FABS & Real Gear Transformers did. Idk I just like it be separated. You know what I mean

I'm sorry, I'll go take my son's toy away from him and tell him he's not allowed to play with it because the internet said so.
Shin Densetsu
Well someone is playing with One-step changers. Otherwise they would've been dead in the water after TF4 AOE, not brought over to not only the RID line but now TF5.
Could be a different version/upgrade of Optimus
dCon
haha ok I'll take that into consideration. I was just making a point bc the small towns will suffer from it when it was just mainline figures and a few other lines like FABs, Roleplay, & Real Gear (that was basically it other then preschool section Robot Heroes which are awesome) the retailers weren't short on good figures. Now the generations or deluxe lines suffer if the one steps do bad, and if the 3 steps do bad, and if the next gimmick line does bad ect.

No 3 year Olds play with one steps. My point was the one step movie figures don't really.work. And there is no 3 years playing with them, so that's a lame reason. They like Rescue Bots and there are plenty of things they can do for 3 year Olds that won't confuse the retailers. One Steps confuse the shit out of them the are literally sold right next to the generations figures and THAT is my point.

I think it was the legions rather than the one steps we have the code names for, but the same's still true.
It's what happened with AOE, and there's not much point having code names if they don't consistently refer to the same character. They may just as well call them all 'deluxe' or 'voyager'.
Must be repaints of the flip and change figures I'm guessing. It amazes me that for RID they are constantly making new moulds of the same characters. I think a couple of them have even had three different one steps. CW and TR obviously have had multiple mould reuses, but that's within the single line, and even many of those were heavy retools. But for the movie they're avoiding new moulds where they can, even though it's been three years since the last line. It's almost like they feel the movie lines are just something to get done out of the way. At least AOE was all new modes except one (I'm not counting the Takara Movie Advance extras here).
And a another reason why I don't think there are preview figures is that they've all been given a date of April or May, but First Edition Optimus came out in February and the First Edition Optimus Helmet is out this month or next month.

Back with some official info. Remember the Three-Steps line I mentioned on a news post? Guess what? There are about 6 figures (may not be the final number) and 4 of them are AOE repaints.
Lazerwave
I just wish for something like last time when they had both the code names and the actual names. With Bumblebee, Barricade, Crankcase, Slash, Optimus and Grimlock confirmed, it's scary to predict what will happen with the rest. The only repaint I want to see and hopefully the last Dinobot is Snarl. Is figure with that and Slash I can get the Platinum Dinobot set.

2017 line up for Middle-East, Portugal, Peru and UK are already officially out. Worryingly, there is no other movieline listed for the year. In fact the Middle-East list which I got very clearly stated that the list is THE movie lineup for Middle-East.
But I wouldn't rule out that fact that US may see another line. But so far, this seems to be it. Only the NY Toy Fair will reveal if this is the Main Line or the Preview Line.
True. I got some more info today as well and all sings point that this is it for the the main line.
Hoffman
I wouldn't say it's "clearly" not the main line, given that no info has leaked about any other lineup.
SPLIT LIP
How do you know the line is mostly redecoes?
The premiere line or whatever it's called are mostly redecoes, but clearly it's not the main line. And even then, only 50% of it is redecoes. That's not "mostly."
Hoffman
Is there any reason to assume that the same code name applies to the same character across size classes?
dCon
Yea that is strange. I haven't paid attention to the One Steps too much, just the Mainline's this year, role play & I HAVE been looking out for 3 steps if anything. Thanks for listing these lists, it's always fun to see any movie news before the movie.
SilverOptimus
Yep. Jupiter is Optimus. But if you look at the Peru list you can see the 4th 1-Step Figure of Wave 1 is Optimus. There is one figure name and it's 'Four Moons'. Since we knew Jupiter is Optimus I was unsure why Four Moons is Optimus too.
Lazerwave
I'm really worried about this line. Very little spots for new characters because they are releasing repaints mostly.
Mercutio
I have great news for you: you're not required to buy them.
The slow trickle of information is increasing, but Hasbro has done an impressive job at keeping most of the line under wraps until the very end. One week to Toy Fair!
Bobby Bolivia
You would actually waste money on that Bee? It still looks as cheap as a knockoff in Vietnam…everytime I see this Bee ''figure'' I'm hopeless
Lazerwave
Squeek is the one character I did not want as a Deluxe figure.
Now I really have doubts there will be no Hooligan, Mohawk, Cogman and McLaren.
