A very big thanks to 2005 Boards members Sanchimaru and Jalaguy for translating and re-lettering the Takara Tomy Mall web comic for the upcoming Unite Warriors Baldigus (Ruination). We’ve mirrored their work after the break, read on to check it out, discuss and give some props on the forums! Ruination Awakens!
Notes:
– Read the comic right to left.
– I’ve used the English-language names for characters/things, with the exception of Brave Maximus and Fire Convoy for reasons that should be obvious.
– I’ve also used the dub versions of several attack call-outs, in particular the famous “Ruination awakens!”, which captures the punchy, alliterative feel of the original Japanese “gotai gattai!” far better than any literal translation could. Thanks to TFW user Chris McFeely for some help with those.
– Japanese Unicron speaks olde-fashionede Japanese with a flamboyant turn of phrase, so his dialogue has been edited for style to avoid the Western reader bursting out into laughter whenever he speaks.

i would find a sort of ironic schadenfreude in it. a character pretty much exclusive to japanese fiction, whose original toy was never made available in north america, only getting a modern toy in North America.

Well I hope so.
I'd be disappointed if we never get a Takara Liokaiser.

Boy, I'm really confused about Galvatron II now. So this isn't exactly an origin story for him like I thought. He'd originally passed between dimensions in the post-G-2 era and became leader of the Decepticons, but because there was already a Galvatron in this universe (who was already dead by that time), he needed to be known as Galvatron II, and this pissed him off enough to travel back in time (how, we don't know) to the late '80's during Scramble City: Mobilization, just to end up getting killed and then waiting around as a ghost for 25 years until Cyclonus found him?
That sounds like an extremely convoluted way to need to justify some old piece of artwork.

There's some continuity/translation notes about a few things, but I'll post those all in one go when I've finished the whole story.

Thank you both for all the great work you've done so far.
Jalaguy
It's coming, never fear! Sanchimaru's done his part, now I need to letter it.

Jalaguy, Sanchimaru, the final part of this is up on the TT mall site! Not sure if you saw it yet but I thought I'd let you know. I hope you can translate this for us please please please!

I cannot wait for this toy, and this story made me even more excited.

Oh thats a TFCC guy, i hadnt seen that before. Yeah he does fit the CW Strafe mold.
And you are correct, he would probably be a little too similar to Trailbreaker and the First Aid/Ratchet mold would historically be more correct for the character, but he would need to have the Trailbreaker arm offcourse.
About Brimstone: Considering the FOC bodytype and considering they are Spaceknights i think a Futuristic altmode would be more fitting so if not CW Strafe i would suggest UW Strafe.
UW could make us a load of new combiners if they thought it was financially viable.
MrSoundmeister
Well, I kinda recall that "R.I.D" Cannonball had a different body type from his "Cybertron" body type (The Rockin' Voodoo Tattoo SUV one) And the Strafe Mold seems rather close to said "R.I.D" Continuity body type. Though, if you're using the Trailbreaker mold, then think about how he would still be too similar looking to Trailbreaker. Though, First Aid version of the mold fits the SUV set up perfectly.
Also Brimstone would work better with Firefly/Flight considering that the FOC Air Raid Mold is basically Fireflight to begin with.
Also there should be a group of microns too that form a large weapon. Just to sneak Eclipse (A White Redeco of L.P) into the group.
But the whole debate for who will form which limb/torso mold would be best placed on a thread that would befit this speculation (?).
Windsweeper II
I would absolutely love that!!! But why Strafe? Wouldnt Trailbreaker be a much better fit for Cannonball?
But who else would be on that team? I hope no axer. No matter what the wiki says he was never a Starseeker, he just tricked them into giving him refuge from Megatron and was quickly dealt with.
Brimstone from CW Strafe would be a good fit, Sandstorm from UW Vortex with the Blades head, (Headcannon addition) Paradron Medic Morphine from Jumpstream and Starquest from Cyclonus combine to form Thundertron!
Robogeek28
I'm guessing LioKaiser would be a regular UW release and not a TTMall exclusive.
RobotKnight95
I could marry you for that idea. I won't but I'll take you on a date.
T-Hybrid
I feel like Liokaiser will be the capper for the numbered Unite Warriors, but there's gotta be at least one more "EX" to finish off this storyline.
MrSoundmeister
Or Takara would make a Combiner Team Based on the Star Seekers, What's Wrong with making CW Strafe into Cannonball anyways?
Yeah, alot of people are kinda focused on Leokaiser and the hope that they will get two new molds out of it. I could see why. I guess.
Ehhh… I'm not big with that idea, Rook and God Magnus' Color schemes might be too similar to each other, Except for placement. (Both being White,Black and Blue being part of their color motif.)
Autovolt 127
I like the idea of this but I'd rather have a Liokaiser.
God Magnus from Rook mold….sounds good to me.
Bob Schoonover
We don't know, but they've been heavily implied by TFCC comics and prose fiction (and meet the 2 heads per mold rule o' thumb).
The Brawl/Rook head thing has been in the air since Defensor was announced (something about Hasbro not being sure they'd get the budget to do Brawl, which also explained why the pushed Bruticus back so far). I feel most sure of that one.
Also add in the Counterpunch head for Wheeljack and Toxitron head for Motormaster as HasTak designed heads that haven't been used by Takara
