I know this is 1.5 years late to be noticed, but here is a fan made/modified robot mode for Dezarus, Liokaiser's sinister torso.

I created this to distinguish Dezarus from Skylynx in robot mode.
I also gave Dezarus a backstory: Deathsaurus, Leozack, and Jallguar were almost destroyed in battle fighting Optimus Prime, and most of the Autobots, so Megatron ordered Shockwave to rebuild them using their most intact body parts into one new powerful Decepticon. Their minds were also fused, and Dezarus was the new bot created.

Thinkgeek is a pretty reputable site

Never heard of that site. I'll keep it in mind. Especially since I never got a skylynx

I think their a nice set and I have zero attachment to them
My issue is I can't get past the EE gouged price on them. When I got Victorian for 80 and could get computron for the same price…

I must admit Hasbro has done a great job with the molds. Admittedly Dezarus using the Sky Lynx mold is a bit of a double-edged sword. Good in so far as it's an excellent torso mold (and one I was keen to have an example of beyond Sky Lynx, as he felt standalone to me) but bad in that it's nothing like the source character (who, incidentally, I have zero attachment to and hadn't even heard of before Combiner Wars, as he'd only ever featured in the Japan-only cartoon Victory).
But Guyhawk and Fellbat are wonderful. The latter, in particular, is an excellent retooling. And Ironbison and Drillhorn achieve the impossible by making good on that troubled Brawl mold. It's a terrific set (although so was Megatronia, and she still got sold on…).

I've come up with a head cannon where the Destrons were sent off to concur other worlds but somewhere along the way there was an accident that turned them and there ship into a combiner, and some left over debris. At some point they come back to Cybertron and join up with the Decepticons.

I agree. I really wonder if they'd just named the torso "Destron Dragonstorm" or something similar if some of the complaints about the set would have disappeared. I mean, it wouldn't be Leozack and Jallguar, but it also wouldn't be a not-so-Dezarus-looking Dezarus.

Yep, it's not a good fit for the character. On the flip side, the mold makes for a brilliant torso, which is actually the reason I went for it.

This is the only thing on my Christmas list…

I can see Unite Warriors making a comeback shortly with POTP combiners so there would an opportunity for a TT Leokaiser if that happened.
Thundershot
It really is a nice set. My only issue with it is making Deathsauras from Sky Lynx. Even if they had done Leozack from Silverbolt, I'd have less issues (even missing a teammate). Hopefully TT has had plenty of time to rectify this… I'll definitely buy again if they get Leozack and Jargua in there.. or even just Leozack.

Got this set today cheap from Kapow after months of managing to resist. It's super nice. Really solid.

I'd really like to see some 3rd party make an add on to lock the rear legs in torso mode.
casacrespo
I completely agree that they are two different markets. I wasn't mentioning on the market I was just responding to him saying how he wanted a 3rd party Liokaiser.
Mirage232
Yea, anything more than that for this guy is not worth it, IMO.
Crim
I don't see anything like that, or even how he can become a torso but I totally could be looking at the wrong things. He's definitely chunky enough to house a combiner head though.

Where are the ports on Starscream? If the leaks are true then he probably has them, but I couldn't see any.
