I finally got mine while returning home from visiting family In Texas. We stayed at a friends overnight near Memphis and the next morning as we were getting back on the road I decided to try my luck at the neighborhood Walgreens and there it was, hiding behind a Mindwipe. It had the look of having been there a while. It was not in a shopping area and I credit that to it's staying on the shelf that long waiting for me.

I've given up on him at this point. Walgreens is too far out of my way to see nothing but a pitiful selection of movie-verse 1 step changers, chromedomes, mindwipes and wolfwires and I'm not paying eBay prices either.

I got mine online from Ebay, about a buck cheaper than the Walgreens site. But I was going to order it from them directly, just because I never go up to where my closest Walgreen's is, but I did go up there after getting it delivered, they had 5.
For anyone who hasn't seen it yet if any, order it from Walgreen's website or you can find them for retail on EBay.

According to some members in the Transformers Collectors Club Australia, Hasbro Australia confirmed it. They insisted there wasn't a market for it here.
As much as I like Hasbro, I'm not standing for it. I'll just hunt down a Fansproject one. If they're going to insist that nobody will buy their Brainstorm, then I guess I'll play by their rules.

As Robogeek28 stated, the Walgreens exclusivity applies only to the United States. Do you even have Walgreens where you live? If not, be glad you can find him locally at all.

I think the folks holding out because they bought the Generations figure are a little silly. Neither one is breaking the bank and they're both cool toys. If the Generations figure got repainted into someone else, I'd get that and probably just keep the new mold.

I wasn't going to get Brainstorm, I was happy with the Generations Voyager and I already had Blurr (which I love).
Damn this board, I got the only one at Walgreens today. And he is great. It's amazing how much a new paint job and a bit of remolding can change a figure so dramatically.

I'm really looking forward to this guy… after all sold off my Generations brainstorm because I heard he was coming… unfortunately.. north of the border he's a rare commodity… to the point where he's been listed for sale for around $60 Canadian. Got my family in the south grabbing me a few of these guys… may be a while before I get them.. but still ok by me
