Hasbro has unveiled the covers of Transformers: Robots In Disguise Season 3. The actual Season 3. Titled as Combiner Force, the new season (out in 2017) will pit our beloved Autobots against Decepticon Combiners. But, Bumblebee and his team will have a trick of their own.
Official Synopsis:
“In the Transformers: Robots in Disguise animated series, Bumblebee and his team of Autobots — Grimlock, Strongarm, Sideswipe, Autobot Drift, and Fixit — have figured out how to work together. They’ve captured escaped Decepticon prisoners, defeated longstanding enemies, and defended our planet without any humans (other than their close allies Denny and Russell) knowing they’re here.
In the upcoming third season of the hit series, their ability to work together will be put to the ultimate test! The team faces a new Decepticon threat that is literally the biggest one they’ve faced: a team of five Decepticons who can combine to form a giant super robot and pulverize anything that stands in their way. The Decepticon Combiner team is set to wreak havoc on Earth, and it’s up to Bumblebee and the Autobots to stop them!
The team will discover that they, too, are more than meets the eye. The Decepticons aren’t the only ones who can combine into different bigger, more powerful forms! I'm pretty sure there's more to come. After all this season has probably already been done for months now considering it will most likely air in February and we've seen recording shots in recent months. Plus Hasbro calls this offically Season 3 and crew members have mentioned a Season 4.

My gut says that because Hasbro referred to the Starscream episodes as Season 3, this is likely that season 4. Of course I would love to have it keep going. And have Saberhorn return, better chance at a toy.

This actual season 3 sounds kind of interesting. I'm hoping the decepticon combiner team will be someone new. and they better get toys!
Hopefully ChopShop can also get a toy while they are all about Combiners.
Jazz returning for this season would be nice too.

I've got admit that the idea of the Bee team combining with each other sounds kind of silly right now but I'll give it a chance.
At least season three won't be just six episodes (hopefully).

The Breastforce would be the best option as they transform into vehicles with animals details and have the Breast Animal that would be mini-cons.

I actually hope for the new Decepticon combiner coming into the show they'd do something insane with it like for example make it animalistic/monsterous like how ROTF Devastator was to help fit into the animal theme Decepticons.

Strongarm REALLY needs a better Deluxe size figure. That basic size one that came with the Mini-Con looks better than the Deluxe, and that's just plain wrong.

Well this sounds a lot more intetesting than bringing Starscream back, who if i interpret this right will rightly be defeated before season 2 is over and hopefully not even be mentioned in season 3.
Hopefully Steeljaw will return for Season 3 though, his story feels unfinished.
Especially the Decepticon combiner sounds interesting.

I'm really thrilled about this. I love RID and its characters so much and I can't wait to watch the Bee Team embark on more adventures.
Honestly, the TakTom title of Transformers: Adventure works a lot better than the domestic title for this cartoon imo.
I just hope that Steeljaw makes a return one way or another.
If he doesn't, he had a good arc and I enjoyed it for what it was. But having him be such a great villain that I found myself actually rooting for and then swearing revenge so murderously before being reincarcerated has definitely left me wanting more.
We've seen pics of social media of Troy Baker in the studio with the cast, so here's hoping.

Out of the animal theme they've used, it's animal bot modes, and then normalish vehicle modes. For the most part at least. So that can mean Liokaiser!
Though it can also mean Predaking, Abominus, Monstructor, or Piranhacon too. Maybe not predaking since that name was already used in TF Prime, but then again, the same name thing would be interesting to cover eventually too. Tons of potential here. Especially if this introduces combiners to TF Prime more directly. So that could mean if Megatron comes back later, we could see the RID interpretation of even Devastator!
Personally, I'm leaning on Monstructor. He had a TF Prime mold previously and exclusive set. I could see them revisiting that like they are the Bludgeon figure. Hopefully it's done in a way where it's still compatible to combiner wars though! That'd be awesome!
