Chalk this sighting up as strange and unusual. 2005 Board member Rastafarian has stopped by the Kentucky sightings thread in our Sightings forum to share with us a curious find. Titans Return Brainstorm with Teslor was found at his local Wal-Mart in a case of eight Brainstorm figures. Why is this strange? The figure is a Walgreens exclusive. This is most likely a one-off shipping mistake, but stranger things have happened. If anything, hopefully this means that the figure is shipping out and that Walgreens stores should have them soon.
We’ll keep you posted here on TFW2005 as we get new information.
A year later at the end of 2017 it\'s now on sale for 14.99 on their website. Order 4 of them to get free shipping on orders over $35 then sell the three extras for 25 a pop to your buddies or just return the three extras to your local walgreens and bask in the glory that is MIB 14.99 Brainstorm.
I finally got mine while returning home from visiting family In Texas. We stayed at a friends overnight near Memphis and the next morning as we were getting back on the road I decided to try my luck at the neighborhood Walgreens and there it was, hiding behind a Mindwipe. It had the look of having been there a while. It was not in a shopping area and I credit that to it's staying on the shelf that long waiting for me.
Yeah a few places have him online.
He is available on Walgreens' website, thats how I got mine a few months back.
I've given up on him at this point. Walgreens is too far out of my way to see nothing but a pitiful selection of movie-verse 1 step changers, chromedomes, mindwipes and wolfwires and I'm not paying eBay prices either.
Mine is good, paint, tight joints and everything.
I got mine online from Ebay, about a buck cheaper than the Walgreens site. But I was going to order it from them directly, just because I never go up to where my closest Walgreen's is, but I did go up there after getting it delivered, they had 5.
For anyone who hasn't seen it yet if any, order it from Walgreen's website or you can find them for retail on EBay.
my walgreens have over 9 left since i first saw it….
According to some members in the Transformers Collectors Club Australia, Hasbro Australia confirmed it. They insisted there wasn't a market for it here.
As much as I like Hasbro, I'm not standing for it. I'll just hunt down a Fansproject one. If they're going to insist that nobody will buy their Brainstorm, then I guess I'll play by their rules.
That right there makes me super peeved. Where'd you get confirmation for it?
Like, what reason is there for not releasing it in an international market?? Rude much?
Ugh…they're getting even more widespread. Meanwhile still none in Australia, and a confirmation that there will never be any.
It would help to know where you are located. Though based on those price tags, presumably not in the US.
As Robogeek28 stated, the Walgreens exclusivity applies only to the United States. Do you even have Walgreens where you live? If not, be glad you can find him locally at all.
Walgreens exclusive in the U.S.

walgreens exclusive???? wat is so exclusive about it since this is selling at toysRus ….hanging there collecting dust… lol
I think the folks holding out because they bought the Generations figure are a little silly. Neither one is breaking the bank and they're both cool toys. If the Generations figure got repainted into someone else, I'd get that and probably just keep the new mold.
I wasn't going to get Brainstorm, I was happy with the Generations Voyager and I already had Blurr (which I love).
Damn this board, I got the only one at Walgreens today. And he is great. It's amazing how much a new paint job and a bit of remolding can change a figure so dramatically.
I'm not saying I don't believe you. I'm going to go try to find one tomorrow. I hope I can find one in good shape.
Make that five now. Flawless.
Really? I've not seen one without a flaw yet. Minimum without some sort of paint flaw. I might go take another look. See if I can find a good one.
Well of course, it's ToyWiz.
I'm really looking forward to this guy… after all sold off my Generations brainstorm because I heard he was coming… unfortunately.. north of the border he's a rare commodity… to the point where he's been listed for sale for around $60 Canadian. Got my family in the south grabbing me a few of these guys… may be a while before I get them.. but still ok by me
