Comicave Studios have shared out new pics and details for their 1/22 scale Omni Class Optimus Prime. For those that don’t know, this is a non-transforming higher end piece featuring die cast parts, wide range of articulation, showroom quality paint, additional hands and accessories, and LED lights. This will be Comicave Studio’s first Transformers piece to hit the market though their Iron Man pieces have been dropping and are top of the line (see our galleries at Toyark if curious). Check out the new details after the break, he should be releasing in September worldwide!

yea I tried originally to get it off Comicave but they were a major pain in the ass in the end told me to buy off their distributors they were sold out.
Well they are making a 1/22nd scale Bumblebee ro go with Optimus Prime from the AOE line. 8.7 inches I believe or something close to that
It's accurate I own the figure it's completely accurate to the age of Extinction model. It's got the grey ears/antenna, and the arms are just how he was before the upgrade/how he's supposedly in TLK, and his feet are accurate except they are painted blue instead red on the tops. Hardly a deal breaker. In hand the thing is exquisite
SPLIT LIP
For such an expensive figure, it's remarkably lacking in accuracy. The head especially seems really off. In this day and age where reference material is so easy to come by, and toy companies have access to the actual movie renders, I don't see why non-transforming figures should be anything less than totally screen-accurate in terms of likeness and sculpt.

Arrived today. Well packed and awesome

I'm gonna get 3A's four current offerings but I got to get this guy as a stand alone piece, not super interested in their Bee. I'll display him next to hot toys Optimus for a nice G1/movie Optimus display, they are roughly similar in size and I think will look cool next to each other. I think I'll be done with movie figures after that. Lol. Yeah right.

That quote from Comicave is the deciding factor for me. With only 2 figures, I'll stick with 3A.
The diecast is a nice feature, but I'd like more than just 2.

Going to try my luck with Global Holdings. Pre-order plus shipping only ended up being 440.00 and I can't seem to find him anywhere else cheaper that 650. I hope this is works, I got the link to global holdings from comicave recommending them as a US distributor. So I feel like this should be legit and may save me 200.00. They have about 15 preorders left… I think.

Update. Item was shipped today also via ups and is inroute. Even though it shows preorder, apparently they have them in stock. So 430.00 and 10.00 shipped for something that weighs 15 pounds. Awesome.

I reached out to comicave to see if they had any plans to make more transformers figures beyond Prime and Bee, this was their response.
"Hi Kasey, thank you so much for your support! Our current plan stays as this, and we will definitely update everyone if we decide to have new stuff in the pipeline. Thank you!"
Looks like they are probably just gonna focus on their Avengers stuff for now (I'm sure that is where the cash is) but doesn't 100% mean they won't pick up transformers in the future.

I recently saw some comicave Ironman figures on display at my local Barns and Noble and they were really nice. I decided I have to get this guy. Was gonna do a dmk kit of him but after the cost of the kit, paint and time put into it to making it look half as good as this guy, you might as well of just bought this figure. I consider myself above average at customs but with a wife, kid and full time job it would take me about a year to get a dmk kit to look this good, lol. Now! time to sell some junk!

Direct from Comicave $430, though he's sold out at the moment. Of course there would be import fees etc. on top of that.
I'd love this and the Bumblebee, but even costing hundreds instead of the thousands for Prime 1 versions, they're still way too much.

Please help.
I don't want to want this.
It's very pricey and isn't my favorite design.
However, it's 50% metal and with The Last Knight coming out….I'd hate for comicave to make Megatron (which I'd HAVE TO get) and find myself paying aftermarket prices for Prime in order to complete the set.
What to do!?
P.S. I already own the 3A DOTM Prime which is my favorite design. I like being able to see what the altmode is when it comes to Bayformers.

make sure to watch my review, (I do reviews regularly if you like you can.watvh some now lol , but I will be getting him sometime soon we just sent away the money so it's up.to Comicave to ship.to my retailer now and I already have it set to ship directly to me I'm psyched to see the OMNI class packaging for this Beast
and keep getting the line up next is Bumblebee. In scale too
Unrelated:
To those saying that this model is impossible to transform, don't you guys remember sayinb that about the first model in the first movie? Once Husai designs the transformation for him done right in toy model, THEN you will see it was always possible And I say Husai because he left Lead designer at Masterpiece to work on the movie toys. So in THEORY that leads me to believe we will get a good bunch of figures this year coming

Yes it most definitely IS Optimus Prime! I know what your saying but Optimus has been many a form and this falls in every one of those categories for sure! I agree the original movie form waa a more traditional look and I actually like that one more. BUT that is not to say I can't enjoy thjs version I actually really dig this version especially when he upgrades wkth the chunkier forearms.
But more importantly, he's $599.00 where are people finding him ANY less please tell me!
Thank you for sticking up for the young kids that, like us when we were first getting into the franchise (I'm guessing near the g1 era. It was for me 1985) these kids today are totally into the movies. And imo.yhe movies are great. I DO wish Bay would follow the source material more but you can't deny they are good movies. And very entertaining ESPECIALLY if you haven't seen or heard of g1
In other words bro I agree with alot of your post probably all if it but don't quote me on that lol
There is that $400 price agaun can someone show me where you can get him for $400? I'm paying $599.00 so please show me where he is less if there is a place. Thanks guys. (I'm guessing it's just going off the price they estimated way before production samples came in, right ?)

I wish I wasn't so poor.

Awesome figure. Love the design, no visible truck parts bothered me a little bit but after AOE and seeing some of the concept art from TLK, I like to look at it like this. The transformers are just getting better at transforming now that they have been goofing around on Earth for a while. The new robot modes of a lot of the new guys are taking on more of a humanoid form than in the first 3 movies. I'm guessing the main reason for this design overhaul is that it is probably easier to do MOCAP and animate these guys. The more humanoid designs SHOULD lead to more transformers screen time if it cuts down on time and production cost to animate. Just my personal opinion but I think it looks awesome, it just sucks for toy designers.

Nice, and I love that the sword can attach to the shield for storage. Still way too expensive though.
User_93049
That's one pretty action master.

Literally the first thing that came to my mind when you said this was Mistress of Flame from IDW:
I totally understand what you mean though, even if I still really like this Knight form movie Optimus has for the most part.
Nothing against you, but I really dislike that phrase.
