For couple of months, Transformers Fans at TFW2005 speculated the identity of a green Westerstar with markings indicating it had been hunting Autobots and Humans. It was seen chasing Bumblebee and Co. during the Arizona Principal Photography of the latest movie; Transformers: The Last Knight.
Today, director Michael Bay has revealed the name as Onslaught (the Decepticon Combaticon?).

Lord Dcast
I mean he doesn't for the film.

Nice! I know this is probably the wrong thread, but I couldn't find the right one. Thanks haha
FirestormBlizzard
Sqweeks does tho
He just can't transform atm
I hope if he appears in TF6 that his transformation will be fixed.
Lord Dcast
Not supposed to be in this topic, but…
transformervic1
Yes to all of those. Alot of transformations are in-your-face too. No random object blocking it to save costs lol. And everyone gets a onscreen transformation.
John TheDestroyer
I still haven't seen it and I gotta ask, how are the transformations? Are there a lot? Are they good? Are there any characters who don't get a clear transformation shot?
Lord Dcast
They still have tonnes of characters to choose from. Once they go through the season 1/2 characters, I'd love to see a movieverse Liokaiser.
BumblebeeFan71
Huh, must have gone by too fast for me to notice. Whelp I can chalk him off as another character that ended up as wasted potential. Seriously Bay has got to stop that, he's gonna to end up running out of Decepticons at this rate.
I'm thinking that at least after TF7 that they really should consider a reboot. They're desperately scraping for Decepticons by this point.
Lord Dcast
Yes. After seeing the film twice I can confirm he went black eyed.

I want to try that, but I can't seem to find a VW Minibus kit that fits Hooligan's.
Paxtin
Now I want to see someone try and somehow kitbash that Berserker deluxe into a VW van.
SPLIT LIP
It's Dreadbot's alt mode.

I think it does qualify as a grand reveal. For me, anytime they you show a new vehicle with a name to got with it, that's a grand reveal. Hot Rod and Barricade got one and their role in the film justifies it, but certainly not Onslaught. Should've gave Mohawk a reveal during production.
Paxtin
Say, was that rusty VW bus ever a thing in the film? I seem to remember seeing other set pics of it.
Sideways77
Oh, a lot was cut involving the Cons. Hooligan and Onslaught were supposed to go to London with Barricade.
Chopperface
The fight with Drift and Crosshairs is literally what we got in the commercial give or take a few seconds and a line or two from the 'Bots.
They could always just use a generic clone of him and Brawl (like Bonecrusher and Grindor in ROTF) for Bruticus.
SPLIT LIP
Was it a "grand reveal?" They posted a picture of a tow truck with a name and literally never mentioned him again until a blurry dossier days before release.
He does, and sounds about an average guy. He asks if the humans have a bigger door because he's so big. He transforms at least once I can remember.
All the 'Cons are set up with distinct characters and personalities and ultimately just amount to chattier, less generic versions of your average movie 'Cons. Their overall purpose in the movie is not entirely apparent.
Appleseed
The fight between him, drift and crosshair is how long?got around 2 minutes? Its really waste of.this great character, i really wish he can survive and gather all other Combacticons in TF6 to form Bruticus.
Cosbydaf
Damn, that would have made an actual good joke for a scene.
BumblebeeFan71
Is he truly dead though? I never saw the light fade from his eyes. Then there's the fact that Mohawk ended up surviving being a head. It's just the lack of explanation that ends up leaving all this confusion. *sigh* Bay really needs to work on that flaw of his. (That is if he does return.)
