Hasbro have sent out a press release and images for the SDCC 2016 exclusive Titans Return Titan Force set. The set features Brainstorm – or Charon as he is being called in Europe – along with a partially clear version of Sentinel Prime, and a redeco of Robots in Disguise Windblade in Fortress Maximus colors. Check out the full details and images of the set attached to this post, after the break.
TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS TITANS RETURN Titan Force Set
(Ages 8 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $74.99/Available at Booth #3329 at Comic-Con International in San Diego)
SENTINEL PRIME has plans to return Cybertron to glory, and he’ll use whatever force is necessary to achieve it. The TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS TITANS RETURN Titan Force Set allows fans to bring the battle to life. The set features a Voyager Class SENTINEL PRIME figure, DELUXE CLASS BRAINSTORM and WINDBLADE figures, as well as 2 TITAN MASTER figures – AUTOBOT TESLOR and AUTOBOT INFINITUS. Unite the figures together and power up for battle! Fans can also bring the action up a notch by combining the TITAN MASTER figures with the DELUXE CLASS, VOYAGER CLASS or LEADER CLASS Titans Return figures (each sold separately). The Triple Changer SENTINEL PRIME figure can morph between robot, space jet and train modes, with the BRAINSTORM figure converting from robot to CYBERTRONIAN jet fighter, WINDBLADE converting from robot to VTOL jet and Titan Master figures converting from robot to head. The TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS TITANS RETURN Titan Force Set will be for sale at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. Following the convention, a limited number will be available on HasbroToyShop.com.

Has anyone noticed the planetary map on the back of the SDCC Titan Force sleeve? It's black embossed on black, so I can't show you a decent photo, but the planets are all named in Cybertronian.. There's some interesting ones on there (have nearly gone blind squinting at them in the right light, only translated a few so far) Cybertron, obviously. But Nebulos, Gigantion, even Unicron is on there. The big flaming cometty mass on the right is confusing me tho.. It seems to be called "bouropoeis", I think? Anyone know what the heck? Also, any decent scans of the pack so we can translate the rest would be cool.

anybody heard anything on when/if this will be available for US non-con-goers?

Then the hue/saturation settings are a byproduct of whatever image editing software you used to create the composite images.
See for yourself:
Hot Shot.
So, the left is IDW-colored while the right is more G1 based.
I prefer the right. We've already gotten an extremely accurate-to-comic Brainstorm, so the left's deco is redundant while the right one simply serves a different purpose.

Your picture, first post of this thread!

It appears the hue/saturation settings from whatever source you took the Titan Force images from are of, or at least overdone. The tint isn't nearly as strong in the versions from the BWTF and TFW2005 front page stories, and this story from Taghobby has the blue tint even more subtle.

Having looked at the official photos of the Titan Force set, I'm not sure their quite right. There's a slight blue tint to the limbs which isn't present on the version shown in Taiwan a few weeks back. In fact it looks like the level of blue has been raised in the whole photo to match the blue on the single version whereas the blue is paler in the boxset:

Hmmmmm
I'm not sure which one I like more.

Dangit, Payres, i thought i wanted SDCC more, but your comparison has proved me wrong!!! (love all these that folks do on here!)
Edit: actually, they both have pluses and minuses ~ SDCC has the painted barrels, the cooler grey color, the painted shins, painted engine nozzles and intakes, grey hands…
Walgreens has the Autobot emblems in vehicle mode, the extra tampos on the wings in bot mode, the yellow cockpit, the greener blue…
what i really want is SDCC with the wing tampos and yellow cockpit

IDToys pre order
Transformers SDCC 2016 Titan Force 3 Pack – ID Toys
£89.99 UK which would work out cheaper than Robotkingdom Pre order before customs, and definitely cheaper after HM's R&C got the red hot poker out!

Thank you.
(I can't imagine Walgreens will actually sell it at that price, though. I'm reminded of the fury… of which I admit to participating… over BBTS pricing their Seacons above the previously-announced ARP)

Rumor no more.

anyone want to swap heads ? Ill have a takara one to trade for a US one ?
OCProwl
Thanks for this. To add to the mix, the picture from the Breakfast today of Brainstorm makes his head look like the darker shade of grey (as on the wing). Maybe it's the lighting? It looks off/different to me though:
I really wish I could tell for sure because I prefer what's in the stock photo vs what is being shown below. I don't care for the darker grey face mask…

Compare & Contrast
Titan Force on left, single carded on right:

The single carded one at San Diego Comic Con 2016 – Hasbro Transformers Breakfast Event pictures – Transformer World 2005 – TFW2005.COM
and also seen at San Diego Comic Con – official Titans Return product images – Transformer World 2005 – TFW2005.COM is confirmation he exists elsewhere. Walgreens have all but acknowledged it's their exclusive.
A Japanese version has been teased, packed with the Brawl jeep and probably a head with a visible face

We've seen enough of the non-SDCC version AT SDCC (see this thread, just scroll down a little bit) that I think we can take it as US-release confirmation, if not specifically that he's a Walgreens exclusive (which is still most likely the case).
protostar8
So did we ever get confirmation that Brainstorm is going to be released in the US, even if he's some kind of exclusive? I really hate paying $75 for him b/c that's all I'd want from the pack…
Or is he being released in Japan?

It is a different Windblade entirely. It's the Warrior figure of her from the RID line. Unfortunately, the regular Hasbro version is comically under-painted:
Chances are Takara will do a better version…

Hey guys,I just noticed something significant but Windblade from this 3pack has been extensively retooled, the wings in alt mode are more sleek, they covered up the gaps between her legs in alt mode too.Basically this looks almost like a different Windblade entirely.
But don't think just cause I said that first that I dislike her new look, you would be completely wrong.I think this new looks suits her all the more. Are we getting this version of her at actual retail or is this just a SDCC Exclusive?.I pray they will release some sort of basic version of her at retail,I want that figure so bad.
