Prime 1 Studio have fully revealed their first statue from the Generation 1 inspired concept line based on designs by artist Josh Nizzi; And it’s none other than Optimus Prime. Though it’s not specifically stated, it gives off the feel of what a Movieverse Prime could look like if done with G1 in mind. Either way it’s bad ass and PMTF-01 coming at you later this year for around $1000 USD. Check out the awesome piece and some additional details after the break!

the axe tilted slightly downward….seems like a bit heavy for him to hold..

Again, if the movie designs looked this good I'd consider giving them a second chance.

Again complaining about something over and over you have no power over is not going to change anything you want boring less detail transformers watch generation one cartoons, you want realistic transformers how they would look in real world watch movies, some bot designs are bad and others good accept it take it for it is or move on don't bother with movie news if you don't like movie series

If it wasn't movies all we be doing is keeping up to date with toys, games, acceories , statues, comics, conventions news now us fans can get movie news and two sequels had hit over billion twice that is something to be proud of as trans fan movies are bringing in new fans and old ones new times new age you want talk bad looks of bots energon cyclonus, iron hide, beast machines toys, metroplex cybertron

He's a lot more bluntly G1 than the concept art implied:

I mean, those are fairly G1, but there are more curves and overlapping parts and it manages to look at least somewhat different from the billion other Optimuses we get.

I still prefer this version too than the G1 themed statue. I mean they both are, but one is too on the nose for me to where it does look like a zillion other Optimus' out there. And the rivets are a bit busy for me.

Confusingly enough, they are doing two lines of statues that are 'movified G1'. But one is current movie style (the above concept art), while the 2nd is more G1 reboot (the statue). Likewise they're also doing TWO different Megatrons, the one with the tank thread cape, and a more G1 statue seen in silhouette in the upcoming product tease.

Yup no surprise there, his Long Haul looked like, well Long Haul. Hopefully one day we will see this in theaters, one day.

We will have to wait a little while I think Bay has at least two left in him. Although, he will say he is leaving after that then come back again to do another… I hope J.J. Abrams takes over the franchise after he finishes up with Star Wars and uses Josh Nizzi's G1 concept designs for his reboot. A man can dream…

and to think this is what prime could of looked like in the movies. Kinda glad they didnt ruin it on michael bay. This is the same guy who did the design for long haul and a couple others in the movies right ?

Makes me curious on how they would tackle the other Optimus designs like G2,RID/Car Robots and Armada. Would be epic to see them in this style.

:drool: :bowdown:  Yee gads what I wouldn't do for a winning lottery ticket right now! This is way nicer than the Hot Toys Optimus, which I still want, by leaps and bounds.

And no inexplicable Starscream Cos-Play gear this time. :thumb
