TF@TM is letting us know that Hasbro has filed for a new trademark for the 5th Transformers movie. Titled as AUTOBOT SQWEEKS, this trademark is categorized under “Toy action figures, toy vehicles and toy robots convertible into other visual toy forms“.
With it, we can confirm that Hasbro will put out toys based on the new character and also confirms that the Vespa is in fact an Autobot.

Composite Ghost
Sqweeks belongs to the creepy bike shop owner from Diff'rent Strokes.
2003 Megatron
Interesting
MyloTron
Let's see how that character is because I would love a extreme premium toy of that Sqweeks. Hell to the yeah!
Afterburner
Gaia is very grateful that plastic can be recycled.
Galvatross
I know, right? Like I can understand not liking the appearance of this new robot, but we literally have no idea as to the toy quality or what the character will be like on screen. The "ruined forever" responses to Sqweeks are extremely knee-jerk and illogical, that's for certain.
Also, shouldn't a new robot appearing in a Transformers film get a toy?

Man, I am loving how much "This is the end of TFs" is coming out of a thread confirming one character is getting some sort of toy.

Its quite too early for toy leaks to start, we normally dont get toy leaks for the movie figures till around end of filming, Movie 1 leaks began in August 2006, ROTF toy leaks began in September 2008, DOTM toy Leaks began in December 2010 (with the news of the sizes and prices starting in October). with AOE we started to hear news about the toys on October when hasbro revealed the Leader Optimus at NYCC. (August if we count that TRU paper which stated AOE would have dinobots toy)
so just because we havent heard of toys right now doesnt mean anything, because its still early, we wont heard about the toylines till around August-December and trust me i checked the news pages for see when we started to get the toy leaks and all of them began around August, September, October, November or December.

Why bother. .

Probably those manufacturers of squeaky toys for your pets or something.
Autobot Burnout
Not televised and poorly advertised to the actual target market.
Two years and that's only because the movie was delayed in release date by a year from its 2006 release date.
Then why is there not a movie toyline being leaked yet? The only thing we know about it is that stupid midget bot thing having the legal paperwork filed for a toy, but no information about size class or what it will even do.
Powerglide1991
Well there is the Combiner Wars show made by Machinama, Online sure but it's still a show.
Plus this is Hasbro, i doubt a new show will come so soon, RID was a sequel to Prime, After Transformers Cybertorn we didn't see a new tv show till animated (which was a couple of years i believe)
They have a movie coming out, they don't "Need" a new show just yet, not with RID still showing.

That's what i am thinking will happen, Bumblebee gets his voice and is more mature, so Sqweeks appeals to the young crowd, while bee is now catering to the teens that were kids in 2007.
If he's cybertronian, fair enough, but the Trademark for "Autobot Sqweeks" could just be a package name for the toy (Like Lockdown was branded a Decepticon in AOE)
I'm still thinking he's a junk bot built by Cade
Autobot Burnout
Second graph down.
The fact AoE performed the same level is bad.
Autobot Burnout
Surely you can show me these sources?
moreprimeland
Made me chuckle when I read the "dead/live indicator"… has "live", so that's good for 'lil Sqweekers, might be in a 2nd movie.
Autobot Burnout
Yeah, but how does AOE compare to the last three film lines?
Desparation. Haven't you noticed how how Hasbro doesn't have a new cartoon lined up?

It's good to see that Scooter can still get work in this day and age.
