The Hong Kong Toys ‘R Us page updated today revealing an exclusive giveaway for customers purchasing Titans Return Fortress Maximus: the Master Sword! The Master Sword for this campaign is limited to just 100 pieces. From the Google translation of the ordering page:
Book Online Now you can get a free royal sword, Limited 100.
Please note: Due to the royal sword was specially made, so the delivery time not meet the July 1 sent. The company now offers a secondary delivery service.
Ford Giants will begin shipping in July 1. The royal sword will be shipped in mid-August. Such as the arrival, we will e-mail notice to you.
We’re not sure yet if the Master Sword pictured here is potentially the Takara version that we’ve yet to see, but this one does show differences in the deco from the SDCC Fortress Max sword revealed recently.

And does it split twice?
Cal
Yeah, but where does it fit in the alt modes? Is it just leftover kibble?
SouthtownKid
Well there's the confirmation that the sword splits.
TacticalBacon
That's pretty awesome.

I was under the impression Toys R US HK had already sold out of this promotion?
After seeing the basic Hasbro Fort Max in hand, not even the sword could convince me to get him…

TRU Taiwan will be having a similar promotion. First 100 customers will receive the Master Sword.

Nice promotion for people to grab this Titan Fort Max
GGGG00
The TRU HK post mentioned that while Fort Max will be available from 1 Jul onwards, the sword will only be shipped from mid-Aug onwards as it is specially produced and is limited to 100 pieces only. So only the first 100 customers who pre-ordered Fort Max from TRU HK will receive the sword.
Judging from the delivery timing, highly likely they are riding on Takara's production of Fort Max. The deco of the sword would be in line with Takara's preference to go for toon accuracy.

I hope this means we will see more info about Fortress Maximus Takara version very soon
Autovolt 127
Neat little exclusive, but it'll probably be much harder to come by than the SDCC version.
payres
Structurally it looks the same sword as the SDCC one, despite the paint differences.
Convinced now it splits up
Calabask
The TT one has more paint apps than the SDCC one. Oh Hasbro, can you at least pretend you're staying in the game?
grimlock1972
If this sword is different from both the Takaratomy sword included with their Fort Max and also Different than Hasbro's that comes with the SDCC Max. I guarantee it will sell for ridiculous money on the secondary market, or i should say people will try to sell it for crazy money.
flux convoy
What would lead you to believe that? If it's anything at all like the original, it should be pretty sturdy.
Dark Jedi
What's the difference in swords?
MartyFeeb
So much hubbub over a sword…
I'm in the camp of "does it come with a cool gun?"
Cause the sword is gonna be hella fragile, so I'd be happier with a large cannon. Heck, even the hip cannons (as an add-on part) would be cooler, imo.
PoweredConvoy
Yup, definitely mean the sword. We've seen the TakaraTomy figure, just not the sword or the two smaller heads.
I'm thinking this might be their sword marketed from Hasbro Asia.

MrSoundmeister
Hmmm, it seems to be the same sword found in the comic-con set with a more "accurate" color placement.
Robogeek28
He means the sword.
