British actress Laura Haddock has joined the cast of Transformers: The Last Knight
She is best known for her recent portrayal of Meredith Quill; the mother of Perter Quill a.k.a. The Star Lord (Who!?!) on Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy.
On her Twitter announcement, she is very excited to play her new role opposite Optimus Prime and Mark Wahlberg.

Neat casting!
Powerglide1991
Widowmaker would be cool, or Slipstream to replace Starscream
MyloTron
It's ok, we got some pretty female actresses and AshleyCuadra to be the female decepticon.
AshleyCuadra
There's no female autobots mentioned guys its all male autobots casting sorry to burst your bubble gentlemen
MyloTron
Good observation. That would be awesome. Even better if it's a full movie role. Yeah, she could be the evil sexy witch enchantress to go against Merlin or voice Blackaracnia.
Legendary Prime
She reminds me of Sophia Myles who was in AOE. Maybe Laura is taking her place? Actually maybe not, Myles' character was good in AOE.
Afterburner
Feels right, lol.
Rewind
This has to stop.
I don't want to see another person flounder with some terrible fish pun.
Sixshot93
Wow. Did NOT see that coming! Congrats to her all the way!

Blisterin' Barnacles.
Tintin references aside, very cool to have Star Lord's mom in this.
StarGazer
her role is OPPOSITE Prime and Cade, so might be voice for a decpticon, or an evil human characterr

Mirage00
Right? Man these films and their unesiary human characters.
MyloTron
She looks alright. Dress her up the right way and I'm sure she will play the part well.
I'm calling out first dibs

This.

Even if the movies don't stay on Earth, you'll likely have astronauts going with the Transformers on their space adventure. Or if a future installment is set on another planet like Nebulos, you'll still have human actors playing the Nebulons. Regardless, humans will always be involved in a live-action film.
tonyformer
What if she's voicing a TF? If the leaked info holds up and is true, we are supposed to get TFs with ties to the UK and some with English accents right? Could we get a female TF? She probably is just a human cast member tho.
Megatron118
Cool!
