Best parts of Transformers Live Action Movie Principal Photography can be considered as Set Images and Speculation. When it comes to that, Transformers fans of TFW2005 are the best under the sun. Over the last couple of days our boards were bombarded with images and info regarding a possible new Autobot. Let us take a look at what we got.
The existence of a Dump Truck Cybertronian first surfaced earlier this year during an interview with Director Michael Bay where the director was working on post production of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows.
Finally, there’s Transformers. They show Bay an underwater rendering of a crash-landed alien spaceship, then a new dump-truck Transformer with a cloak. Neither are up to snuff. “Boy, I’ve got a lot of work to do,” Bay says, shaking his head. “I better finish this [censored] 13 Hours movie.” He thanks ILM and kills the video link, then turns to me. “It’s not good when I’m not involved.”
As soon as a new image of a similar vehicle spotted on the set, fans began to wonder if this is the one revealed during the interview. With tinted windows (usually indicating it’s a robot) and a cab full of odd junk objects, this Mercedes-Benz Model 1924 Dump Truck certainly had everyone’s interest. He was spotted rolling along with the Autobots.
More images showed up and judging by several stickers on the hood it seems as though the truck had been traveling all around the world collecting junk including Egypt. Speaking of which, eagle-eyed fans quickly pointed out that the truck is carrying what looks as though several parts of Jetfire which were abandoned by Optimus Prime after the battle of Egypt at the end of Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen.
Interestingly, one of the Stickers seems to be the logo of Star Seekers; a band of Space Pirates from the Aligned Continuity. On the storyline Thundertron‘s pirates battled Wreck-Gar and the Junkions. Also on the door is a sticker containing several Cybertronian writings. Update: Our members pointed out that despite the similarity the sticker looks more like a pair of crossed scimitars and a crown.
Speculation time! It is clear that majority of the fans are opting for the possibility of him being Wreck-Gar, the Junkion leader. They base their theory on the fact that Transformers: Animated Wreck-Gar is also a Trash Truck as well. Quite a good theory. But knowing Transformers live action movies, this Cybertronion could be anyone. It could even be Prowl, or Cliffjumper, or Superion. What do you think? I read a comment somewhere that Robin Williams (God rest his soul) would have been perfect for Wreck-Gar. To whoever said that, I say great minds think alike. I\'ve harbored that thought since 2013, when he still was alive.

Yeah I can't see it.
If Robin Williams were still alive, he'd be perfect.

The picture is taken by a local cupcake company. A bit of self-promotion.

I had a dream last night. Wreck-Gar voiced by Ralph Fiennes.
Wouldn't work would it?
blaine71274
I could totally see three to four bots jumping out of that. All junked up, asymmetrical. Possibly swapping parts to form different vehicles.
blaine71274
What's with the cupcakes propped up on the passenger side of the front bumper?
daniel 97
I'm gonna say it here. It is Megatron or Galvatron.
LDM
Just wait till the paint app less toy gets released. Gonna look like the back half of the truck is just lumpy.
kaijuguy19
Yeah this looks to be a perfect alt mode for someone like Wreck Gar. I mean unless this is someone new or Junkheap I can't think of anyone better suit for this type of alt mode.
Hounds Belly
It has some of the jetfire parts from TF2!!
maybe the autobots will build the Arielbots???
Lord Dcast
I hope it transforms, but the fandom does have a habit of thinking vehicle will when it doesn't.
Remember the sighting of Dino in the China filming, only for it to turn out to be not TF related at all and in fact a Chinese car expo?
While this is official and that was not, the point of the fandom clinging to random theories still stands.
Lord Dcast
It's likely going to be a Transformer, considering how much effort into its design has been put in. However, as a fandom we have to be careful when making assumptions. Not everything is going to transform in that movie.

It won't just be explosion fodder, it's too bizarre. It will serve some purpose. I think Cade's truck is the best non TF theory I seen.
I do like the poster's idea that this could end up being a bunch of Junkions, ala the Ice Cream Twin in ROTF. That idea deserved more than the 30 seconds it got.
harrismonkey
I'm going to laugh (and cry) when we find out this is just the new Megatron (back as another junker). Probably not the case, but the reminder about the cloak turned my mind that way.
Furnace
If it's not a transformer, it'll probably still be important. It's practically, and somewhat literally, carrying all the leftover baggage from the previous films in its cargo bed! That's gotta be intentional, right?
Lord Dcast
Hm…Ashley does bring up a good point. Whenever we see a new car the first thing a fandom screams is 'TRANSFORMER!', when in all honesty it could just be explosion fodder.
That said, I still hope it is. It would provide a unique design to the franchise.
I'm also glad that Bay is sharing these images to keep the fans engaged. It's going to be a good year of speculation, news and reveals.
Zenstrive
It's Kup, and he's the last Knight.
Edwardmus Prime
Is there evidence pointing to this? Not that it is unbelievable, after that thing with Shane's car and all. That really looked like it could be a Transformer.
AshleyCuadra
Its NOT a transformer
blaine71274
Probably going to transform into a group of Junkion robots. Wreck Gar being the cab, and the rest junk bots.
