Fox 10 Phoenix is reporting that a fourteen mile stretch of the 303 Freeway in Arizona east of Phoenix will be closed in the upcoming days for filming of Transformers: The Last Knight, which is the fifth installment of the live action Transformers films directed by explosion entrepeneur Michael Bay. The freeway will be closed from 2 AM Friday to 11:30 PM Wednesday, which means that there will be five days of filming along this one stretch of road. What exactly will be filmed is unknown, but to shut down a freeway for five days suggests that there will be some extensive scene or scenes in the Arizona desert.
The video accompanying the article mentions Bumblebee as a Transformer that was spotted during recent filming in Arizona. It also mentions a possible returning character who has been strongly hinted at but not officially confirmed, so the following may be considered spoilers. The video shows footage of the Decepticon motorcycle and Decepticon Volkswagen and Decepticon police car, and it refers to the police car as Barricade. That very well may be speculation, but given that they interviewed someone who had been on set the evidence that the Decepticon police car will return is building.

From what I know, they will be filming in Arizona for the next week and then on to Michigan for a month to month and a half. Will be filming in downtown Detroit again, Bay said he wanted to shoot at the old train station again and will spend a lot of time at the Michigan Motion Picture Studio. Of which all 7 sound stages inside and around the studio outside will be used. Will be only one of a handful of times that a movie has utilized all 7 sound stages for production of a movie. After Michigan, they are supposed to travel to Scotland and Ireland for filming. And I'm sure a bunch of smaller blue/green screen shooting will take place back in LA like Bay always does toward the end of production.

OMG, living in Chicago during the filming of TF:DotM was SO INSANELY AWESOME. It still KILLS ME that I missed out on all the Chicago action for TF:AoE because I was out of town.
Oh, well.
Still hoping to catch up with some of the filming in Michigan and wherever else this time around!

Dammit nelson lol o well good news either way. Now the speculation as to what robot mode looks like…or is it like bee and they just change the car parts but keep robot the same. Either way it's still a sweet ass looking mustang and can't wait to pick up the toy figure!!
