Via Masterandy’s Kindergarten, we’ve got a look at one of the upcoming Titans Return Titanmaster figures in-hand. Crashbash is one of the first assortment of these figures, who consist of an additional Headmaster – sorry, Titanmaster – and a vehicle for them to interact with. The Titanmaster figure transforms into a head that can attach to the larger Titans Return figures – and as is evidenced here, it also fits the 2014 Voyager Brainstorm quite nicely – while the vehicle transforms between three different modes – two alternate modes, interacting with the Titanmaster in different ways, and a third weapon mode for use by the larger Titans Return figures. Crashbash is a homage to the Generation 1 Headmaster Jr Squeezeplay, who is getting a full-on Masterforce cartoon deco in Japan. He comes with a nifty dragon that turns into a double-barrel blaster, as well as a T-Rex. The T-Rex form is particularly cool, with the Titanmaster fitting into the chest to provide the dino arms and the Titanmaster feet forming the lower jaw.
The first assortment of Titanmasters – along with most of the rest of Titans Return – are speculated to start arriving in stores at some point in July.

Anybody has seen the review for Titans Return Hardhead?
Purple Heart
Well, everything in this line has at least 3-4 modes and in the Titanmasters case can be fitted into weapons, be heads, pilots. It's ridiculous.
Requiem Prime
I like this scale a lot more than I thought I would. Something about the robot (sans "titan") not being able to do much having a buddy unit that they can combine together into a something stronger. It gives me a very "evolution of transformation" vibe. Same vibe with the big integrated weapons we've been seeing.

The peg on Brawn can be seen in the first picture sticking up in front of the rear track section.
If the peg is in a fixed position then it's between the two treads in the lower picture.
If the peg folds out, and judging by how much it's protruding I think it might, then the gun mode is upside down here (wouldn't be a first for a Hasbro publicity pic) and it folds out under where we can see it sticking up in the first picture.
Either way it's situated in a decent position.

Yeah but at least in the case of Generations Arcana on G1 Brainstorm…
Masktique
Yep, I think it's definitely the most gun-like out of the ones we've seen so far, but if Brawn's vehicle's peg is in the right place, that one will really look like an actual weapon.
Jalaguy
No, they're not. These have a completely different connection system and are a lot smaller than old Headmasters.
DrGrim
I have a headless g1 Squeezeplay. I hope this guy can be used as a head for the g1 toy.
T-Logicon
These are beyond neat. It's been years since I've been excited about a retail tf line, and can't wait to pick these guys up. The interactivity between the HMs and the 'vehicle/animal' is fantastic.
Awesome.

The Titanmaster class is less for collectors like us and more for kids that have grown out of NuRiD, but still what to have Transformers. They might lose a head and this is a way to get a replacement for Autobot Apex with out having to spend $50. They use names of other characters to get the stores to stock "new" product, and to have something different than what comes with the bigger toys.

I think its clever how the titan masters feet become the dino lower jaw and the arms become the dino arms. very neat idea. but like prime roller said, I don't want duplicates so I'm out unless the body comes with it.
Smitty.1981
Sweet! he's got a "gun" mode that almost does not need the quotation marks.

Crashbash is not compatible with Brainstorm. It says he is too loose, but goes on to say, by the next picture, that you can still adjust it to look cool.
From this, we can guess that Brainstorm's Arcana will be too big to fit the bodies from this line.
I worry that if I get these, later they'll be re-released, either with bodies, or as a multi-pack of just heads, or something. I don't like buying and then a new reveal of the same figure comes out, with slightly different deco or in a pack or something, and then wish I hadn't bought the one I have already.

Pretty cool.
SPLIT LIP
These are so cute and creative. Also, DAMN these Titan Masters are small.
ssg4life
i wouldn't mind getting these, but only if they had bodies to match them. why have headmasters like this if they don't have the body to go with it? but i will say these will provide what i hope will be some amazing combos over in the radicons section
deliciouspeter
Irresistible. Preordered both waves.
artiepants
pretty sure they will be too small.
Sharkysharky
Does anyone know if these are intended to fit G1 bodies ?
