Third party company Generation Toy has updated their weibo page with new images of their upcoming classics-scaled modernized take on Jazz! Sporting a sleek Porsche alt mode, “J4ZZ” seems to be a mix of the many incarnations of the Autobot Jazz with some grade-A articulation and detail, silver paint, and includes his handgun and two shoulder-mounted guns.
No pre-orders or prices have been listed yet, but they’re sure to start popping up soon, so stay tuned to TFW for more news on J4ZZ. In the meantime, check out the pics after the jump and share your thoughts in the discussion below!

there any good grappling hook options for this guy?
Scurv
….they reissued Gravity Builder, GT Prime in retro colours, TFM Menasor, Warbotron Computron and GT Primal in white. No reason they wouldn't reissue this.
Hoffman
Wouldn't count too much on it. Tyrant is thr first time they've ever reissued something.
Jazz of Staniz
Man when are they gonna reissue this guy?

3. Where's the jinbao KO.
Fallout
2 questions:
1) anyone selling this guy for close to msrp?
2) any fully articulated replacement hands for him?
Scurv
Hopefully it happens soon, GT/TFM/WB are re-releasing everything else so.

dammit, i saw this thread bumped up and thought maybe its getting a nifty reissue/redeco like other GT stuff. lol. one can hope and dream though. oh and GT if you're listening it'd be gret to get this guy reissued in a more pure white and less pearlescent. thanks. haha

He’s MP scale as he scales with other MP carbots like official MP prowl and blue streak.
The13Primes
Just wondering is this guy mp or chug scale? He seems to be a bit in between from what I’ve seen but i could be wrong

Unfortunately it's not mib
Anyway I was saying that it's nice considering that's a 2 years old toy and should be compared to another 2 years old one because in last 2 years we've seen a huge increase in quality of paintings and in joints and posability. Let's say that if I would compare with fanstoys koot (correct me if I'm wrong, it's more or less 2 years old too) I find J4zz million of times more enjoyable, only downside is his 'lightweight" plastic against the "heavy" ft figures. And my Koot went away (easily) for 180usd…

Disagree, it's a wonderful figure with nice painting touches (being the fact that is a 2 year old figure).
Transformation is fun, posability is nice.

BTW, I have a MIB one for sell, only asking for $350.

He's on of my favourite 3rd Party figures. He isn't in my collection and sits off to the side but he is everything a figure should be. Well painted with out risk of being ruined in transformation. Well engineered. …Oh and those magnetic doors… That is premium.

Daban KOd the prime, personally I'm hoping this is next.
Honesty
He’s most definitely not a brand new $200 buy. Most of us got him for the regular retail price at one point.
Would I personally pay $200.00 for this, to fill my IDW Jazz void, if I did not currently have him? Hmm… I don’t know. Probably no, but I don’t know. Jazz isn’t a super important character for me.
Now had I missed SXS’ Rodimus? I’d *personally* pay $200.00 for him had I missed him. And he’s worth even less, fit and finish wise, compared to GT Jazz.
Just matters how much you like him I guess.
Cynicron
Yeah, I’m in the same boat.
J4ZZ looks like an amazing figure, and I’d love to have him in my IDW-centered collection. But the size and craft has a pretty standard value to it MP-wise, and I don’t think the current rarity is enough to make him worth that much more than his market value. Not to me, anyway.
He’s good but not that good.

Probably the same mindset as selling the MT Seekers or Jazz for like 200 plus dollars. Personally I wouldn't spend more than 100 bucks on any of those figures but that's just me.
