We have news from the Shizuoka Hobby Show that the previously-rumored Masterpiece Cheetor has been confirmed, and in addition, there’s even a silhouette pic to share with you all! Not a lot can be made out in this image aside from blacked-out versions of Cheetor’s robot and beast modes, but it is still nice to get visual confirmation that a second Beast Wars Masterpiece is indeed on the way. Hopefully there will be more to share soon!

It is perplexing.
Indeed and also be careful when rotating the barrel on the tail gun, the yellow plastic joint there is prom to breakage. Best way I've found to avoid it is to rotate from the joint and not the barrel.
Paco Grande
Cheetor’s joints are super tight and caution is needed for sure but I can’t figure out how you could possibly break off that thigh piece. It has nothing to do with transformation and I’ve never heard of anyone else breaking it.
Watch out for the little peg that attaches the front cheetah legs together in bot mode. Mine is fine but I’ve heard of people shearing that peg off.
Booster Gold
Ack…second Cheetor breakage report today, I hate that this stuff happens all to frequently with MPs these days. I can't really agree with the criticism of the aesthetics robot mode, I think it's one of the most gorgeous looking figures in the line but I would agree (especially on the reissue) that the joints are rather tight and a little scary at first.
Atomsk
Thanks, I do have mine looking like that, and have the head/neck squeezed even lower.
Also, I managed to break off the left gold thigh plate when trying to transform it back to a cheetah . Should be fixable with glue… but damn, this figure doesnt get along with me.
MarikZero
Are you sure you have transformed him correctly? At times it's a pain in the a** to align that blue panel correctly…but this is how he should look like:

Received my Cheetor re-issue today! However, I do have mixed feelings on it:
Overall, I would have to say my impression on MP-34 Cheetor is more negative than positive and my main issue is the weird looking neck area. If the fake chest was bigger or if the neck area could fully collapse down so there wasn't a slight upward angle with the blue flap piece than I probably would've enjoyed Cheetor a lot more .
Jetstorm
I honestly haven’t noticed lol.
Atomsk
Are there any noticable gaps in robot mode by doing this? My plan was to just swap in a head part that im not a fan of.
Jetstorm
Yup, I just keep the head off for the exact same reason.

I can't say I've noticed any issues with the original, mind you. That shoulder connection doesn't "click" in place, but it holds just fine through pure friction.
Ruination20
The connection of the shoulders in the reissue are better. They stay connected securely. That does not happen with the first release.
That Guy
I haven't followed the mold, what is the significance of this?
Ruination20
I received the reissue of MP-34 Cheetus today. As you mention, the box doesn't have the Long Life Design logo.
1. MP-34 First release
2. MP-34S Shadow Panther
3. MP-34 Reissue

Like I said in the Beast Wars Appreciation thread, no it doesn't. Unlike the updated box for reissue Primal the Cheetor box looks identical to the original. Maybe there's some small differences in the legal text but no Long Life Design logo.
MarikZero
Does the Cheetor reissue box have the Long Life Design logo on it like Primal?
Sonic Eclipse
Come to think of it, I haven't touched my Cheetor for awhile now. I'll have to check how the whiskers are doing later today.
Booster Gold
That's downwards.
