In addition to Fort Max, we also have some new stock photography of Titans Return Voyager Galvatron, displaying him in all three of his modes – robot, cannon, and jet. Plus, this gives us a look at his packaging and collector’s card. These images come to us courtesy of Distribuidora de Brinquedos Hobby.
We’ve attached the pics for you to check out after the break!

I've preordered Takara version and I appreciate his lavender colour, for my tastes ,also for bot design will display very well.
In bot mode has good proportions, then has a cybertronian cannon alt mode(finally!)and for the other transformation, not very interested,so no problem for the essential design in this 3rd mode.
The problem is the headmaster head from behind and sides, very bad,but I always display all of my figures in front with no rotated neck,so nothing changes and then, the thing will not visible.
Also,Takara headmaster figure is more similar to Megs than Hasbro version,again,+1.
Waiting for reviews,at the end could be one of the best Galvatron of recent years, and he already beats the 2008 version.
I absolutely love design of Decepticons for their usual more"warrior" bot design and earth or cybertronian military vehicles as alt mode(in my TF collection excluding very few figures as some Primes,I essentially collect the purple faction and MP Shockwave for dimensions and design is my favorite there) ,so at the end the toy, despite a flaw on head, answers very, very well to things that I'm asking.

I do think 3rd parties will make some money off of such a thing.
There's a KO set of Japanese Headmasters in a boxset for roughly $100.00 or so before shipping and it seems to have a lot of interest, especially for G1 collectors. Definitely those who've lost their Spikes and Zarak figures.
If a 3rd party group makes a boxset of highly detailed, correctly sized, noggins that are non transforming and come with accurate weapons or something along those lines, I'll bet a large number of us would snap those up in a heartbeat. Heck, make the heads able to fit in the cockpits like the current Headmasters Hasbro is producing and that'll definitely help sell 'em.
SaberPrime
Actually, there are videos on YouTube demonstrating the figure which shows that the head is able to still look left and right with the mask on. Granted you get no up or down movement but a lot of figures only have a swivel anyway. They can't all have ball joints… and even some of the ones that do, don't really have enough range to use them properly.

As the old cliche goes, a picture says a thousand words. Making a judgement about a product based on it's promotional photos is kinda the whole point.
Now see, this is a classic case of deception (the photos, I mean, not the post). The pics didn't outright tell you the Headmaster was purple (or grey), but the character has a purple helmet and the toy's front crown bit is purple so the implication is that the rest of it is also purple — and the photos are posed in such a way as to *not deny* it. And on top of that, all of the other Headmasters have separately-colored helmets and faces, leading more credence to the idea that Galvatron would have a proper purple helmet.
They might not have lied, but they weren't telling the truth either.
But really, who the hell cares what others think of these things? Someone doesn't like the old Galvatron, doesn't like the new one either, and would rather get a far more expensive version — so what?
Dachande
Personally, I think the head looks bad because it's a box wearing a mask. The mask seems to hamper head movement, so that is a major negative for me.
SaberPrime
Wait wait wait… let me just clarify something here… Exactly what about the head is awful looking? Is it because it's a Headmaster or is that a separate complaint? I honestly can't tell at this point.
Personally I don't really like the Headmaster gimmick either. I would of much rather preferred a solid head, attached to the figure, that doesn't transform into a little Mini-con type robot partner. I've never liked that gimmick. However being that it's an official Galvatron that is much cheaper than 3rd party or the original toy that still transforms into his proper cannon mode, it's good enough to fit in as my stand in for G1 Galvatron. I also think it looked better when the headmaster was painted purple but again, I don't really care. I think the crown will cover most of that anyway.
Unless Hasbro, makes a retool or a new mold that works without the Headmaster gimmick and still has that cannon mode, this is the best option in terms of price and availability.
Hell even if the toy is crap… as long as he can stand on my shelf I don't care. It's like the Blitzwing shoulder problem, he still looks good sitting on my desk so I really don't give a damn that his shoulders don't work. He looks cool and that's all I really wanted. I wouldn't recommend him as a kids toy but for something to just sit on a shelf and look cool, he's perfect. Same thing could be said of Galvatron, given that he's just going to be sitting on my shelf anyway it won't even matter that he's a headmaster. As long as he doesn't fall over and have his head fall off and get lost some where I don't care.

Money is less of an object to some people compared to others. I'd rather get the more expensive and better looking toy that doesn't have a partforming awful looking head.
This is a different case. I can get a figure I think looks good based on stock photos, get it, and it plays terribly. But at least then it will still look good posed on a shelf, which it will be doing most of the time anyway.
But if I see a figure in photos and it already looks bad, I have no reason to bother because I already know I won't enjoy it. And this Galvatron doesn't even have the playability aspect under its belt because I don't like partsforming heads on my toys unless it's actually what the character is known for like Chromedome or Skullcruncher.
Transmorph633
So… based on that logic if you liked a certain Transformer by looking at stock photos then get it only to find out it sucks? I thought Generations Blitzwing looked pretty cool only to find out in hand that its slightly terrible. You can pass judgement on a toy by it looks but you can't immediately say the toy is good without actually having it in hand. I think that this Galvatron is a million times better than the universe deluxe one and that alone warrants a purchase from me. Also this is a galvatron that actually turns into his signature cannon mode and has an extra mode to add on play value so at this point in time I don't see how it could be bad unless the actual Titanmaster isn't secure.
knoted
Yes, I understand what you're saying.
But even that, to many people, doesn't warrant paying at least twice as much for another Galvatron.
Seems unlikely to me the head on this TR Galvatron is sufficiently off- putting to make many people skip it entirely……
Bountyan
I'm trusting Hasbro's stock photos, Takara's stock photos, Yuki's photos, and all the photos taken by people at TransFes.
I have more than enough photos to make a good judgement dude.
Smitty.1981
You trusting Hasbro's stock photos to make a judgment about a transformer?
Bountyan
No, 99% of the time I can tell exactly how much I'll a toy's look just by looking at photos of it online. If I kept buying shit just to see how it looks in person I'd waste so much money. And even for that 1% it's for subtle things. Not the entire head looking like a piece of shit because of the gimmick.
Generations Springer absolutely would be a crappier toy if it had a shit head. Keep in mind I've only been saying crappier. Not crap.
Murasame
The head was never painted to match the crown. It was just not visible from those angles. Or do you have a picture at hand, which shows the opposite?
SaberPrime
It's not magic. Often times a lot of toys are better in person than they are in photos. Though some times it's just the opposite… like DotM Sideswipe and Generations Blitzwing.
There are things you just can't see in a photo and have to experience in hand. I didn't really care for the giant shoulders on the Generations Bumblebee/Goldfire/Nightbeat mold but in person they aren't really as bad as they look in photos. The only thing really wrong with Galvatron's head is that the final version appears to be unpainted unlike the original version that was going to be painted to match the crown. It might be possible that it's only visible from that angle and if you look straight on, all you're going to see is the purple crown anyway. We don't know. Maybe the grey plastic isn't as light as it looks in those photos. Again, we don't know.
Lighting can easily make a figure look different. DotM Sideswipe, I didn't notice in the store that it wasn't even painted silver but once I got it home I noticed. I also didn't realize how badly he holds together. He looked OK in package but in hand, that figure is a piece of crap.
Generations Sky-Byte did not look good in photos but in hand I actually like him a whole lot more than I thought I would.
You should really listen to everyone who's telling you to wait till you see it in person before you judge it. And if you still don't like it, I'm sure you could find someone to buy it off you. My local Wal Mart sucks are restocking their shelves and it's the only toy store I have locally so if I can't find one, I'll even buy it off you if you don't want to keep it. Or you could just return it to the store for a refund. (Check to make sure you can do that before you buy it of course, not every store allows that.) Either way you get your money back.
knoted
Well, then I can't imagine it is only the headsculpt which disturbs you.
Really, I don't think I have ever seen a respected reviewer dismiss any toy entirely as crap, just because of the headsculpt.
Your generations Springer doesn't become a crap toy entirely either, if it would suddenly have a less appealing head, no ?
( actually, I strongly dislike generations Springer's look in all modes. But, I won't / can't say it's a crap toy just because of that ).
So again, to a lot of people, this will be a perfectly fine toy, despite the fact that apparently…. the head ruins the entire thing for you.
Bountyan
No I can't. The majority of the time I actually prefer official products. I have a $300 FP Intidimator yet I prefer UW Menasor. I have Warbot Defender I paid over $100 for yet I prefer my $20 Generations Springer. I have a $80 Crox but I prefer $30 Legends Skullcruncher. And it has nothing to do with cost. I just think official toys look better a lot of the time. But this doesn't.
DiaMaru
I still like it, but I'm as not as "wowed" by the figure as I was initially. I'll still pick it up at some point.
knoted
I could dismiss ANY generations toy as crappier than toys which cost twice as much.
But there's not much sense in doing that.
Bountyan
I can dismiss it as a crappier toy. Getting it in hand and giving HasTak my money won't magically make the head better.
