I'm on the other team… I think all of the figures of actual, historical headmasters look awful and I'm actually far more interested in the "new" headmasters.
Archon Shiva
I just need to get it out there that Highbrow looks *amazing*. He's like this paragon of style in a display of colourful children's toys, the dropship that launched a thousand arks.
I'm mostly into 1984-85 decepticons and female transformers, but I'm getting that one.
Thundershot
Dude you don't need to ask in every thread….
Hopefully Groove will go live May 1st..

Is groove only going to be available online? If so when is he going to be available to buy or order online?
Aurawind
Both! Woot! Platinum set pack and individual regular TR.
OriginalFire
Does anybody know how the new version of Brainstorm will be released. Will he be released individually or in a pack
God Ginrai
It was confirmed months ago (at Toy Fair I believe) that the Leader class figures' base modes can connect with Fort Max.
TheGrognard
Dunno if it got mentioned earlier in thread, so my apologies if I'm repeating – but it looks like the Blaster/Soundwave mold has some interaction with Fort max in base mode. There are ramps that can link together.
Dinobot Snarl
….and Wheeljack and Vehicon
Seconded, super excited for him and none of the other hollowed out deluxes. Hopeful for tidalwave and I wish I had botcon Sentinel.
Cheebs
Weirdwolf is the best main line figure since First Edition Prime.
KingGogeta
i love the mindwipe wirewolf highbrow ones so cant wait to get them
dCon
Fan-freakin-tastic! I LOVE this line! Generations has gone from great! To fucking awesime!
Yes he does. Just push back the "horns" and.he's spot on to A3
Not really. I think this line is a keeper I been xlecting full steam since beast wars as a 19 year old. I'm now almost 40 :/
Complain much?
And no we got not much last year. And even less the year before. Much more this year.
That's exactly his modes in G1 bro. So mode like awesome & not as much clever

A voyager Apeface would have been an instant buy for me, but I agree that the Titan Master version of him is great for what it is. I think it might be the best of the Titan Master figures. Also, I think that the Titan Master figure can "ride" both the ape and jet modes.
As for an eventual voyager….well…is it possible it could be pulled off with a heavy retool of Alpha Trion…?

I think of all the scratches on my G1 headmasters and powermasters.
Same physics apply to plastic now as they did then. Only the formula has changed a lot.
I will definitely say I'm excited. I do wish that structurally a lot of these figures had solid arms and legs. We've sacrificed heft and solidity for articulation. Or the budget was just blown back in 2008-2012 with CHUG. It's a compromise, and ultimately I expect Maz to do an article on it.
Knightsword
Given that, one they got scratched and two they had more than just head holding them to the body and they didn't have means to allow the head to move, I think not.
Autobot Burnout
They're trying to avoid the same problems the "advanced" Arcana had on Gen. Brainstorm – the articulated ball joint neck/Arcana's head being made of rubber was that mold's greatest flaw.
Plus, miniaturization for more reasonable sized heads at mass production isn't a "step back" – like, we're talking mass produced WST size toys. Like, if nothing else, the new headmasters win over the old ones purely by not being 100% blocks in head mode AND they have neck swivels. Don't think the G1 HM's had that function on account of the three-prong tech spec bar trigger plugs.
You do know PMOP is literally a retooled CW Magnus, right?
He's online? Shit, why am I only learning of this now?
MatrixOfWumbo
The ones with like a quarter the articulation?
Rodimus Prime
Hmm… I don't care about the Headmasters too much, aside from Mindwipe, but I might get Brainstorm and turn him into Twinspin.
artiepants
Given that he's basically an online exclusive, seems like they should have gone against type and packaged Groove in Bike mode: he looks so goofy with his doing the splits w/ half the alt mode over his head in the package shots
