TFW2005 member Starscream Gaga has kindly shared with us a look at the pack-in comic which comes with E-Hobby’s Decepticon Drift exclusive. The comic with this release tells the story of a Drift from another timeline, who crossed paths with the dimension-hopping Grand Scourge and swore vengeance on him after the closest thing he had to a friend, Lockdown, was struck down. It’s a brief comic which references the fiction of the Transformers Cloud line, and throws in a bit of Transformers Go! and the previous Grand Scourge story for good measure.
Honesty
I thought it was pretty terrible, in my opinion. Why couldn't they get Alex Milne, Nick Roche or even the Japanese Hayato Sakamoto?
Very weird indeed. I'm interested to know who the artist in question was. Unless it's there somewhere and I overlooked.
EDIT: just seen. It's someone I have no idea about. Not that it means he's automatically bad (I doot know a lot of people); but I still think it's pretty bad >_>

Love that Lockdown title is a Decepticon Jaeger
That said, I wonder if we're getting a recolor of Alpha Trizer.
Tux Chaos X
mmmnah, it's mostly trash

Artwork is great as expected, the story is pretty meh for the most part. Then again, the same could be said for some of the other comics packaged with the figures as well.
Nems
Yep, I got my figure, read the comic, went "whatever," and only dug it back out to take some quick pictures.
It's really not great.

Lemme try to improve upon the second to last page:
"You killed him…"
"What of it, boy?"
"He was mine!"
How's that?
I ain't no translator, but I kinda wanna rewrite all the text here.
GotBot
I read the translated comic and to it I say……ahem…..what in the hell was that? It was just like the unicron trilogy….which might be the darkest period of poor story tellung in history. I wanted to enjoy this but it haaassss to oose sooooooo much in translation.
Shatterpoint
Basically.
optimusmegas
at the end he should have just said this….
goobahead1
but anime is awesome!
Autovolt 127
It's so anime it hurts.
Rakzo
Disappointing that this is not as hilariously bad as the Grand Scourge comic.
Odd translation aside, this almost feels like a decent read.

As many of you know, the ehobby exclusive Deadlock toy has been released and, much like the Grand Scourge before him, has an included comic. I've scanned it to show everyone so please enjoy!
As many of you guessed, the comic identifies this Deadlock as the dimension hopping version from the Cloud universe who previously appeared in that series' pack-in comics. It also explains how why the gun-totting Deadlock has a Great Sword: he picked up one dropped by Go Prime (or perhaps a dead Deception… it isn't clear). For anyone who hasn't been keeping track, Grand Scourge is from the Super Link universe and is currently travelling to different timeline hunting Primes, this time setting his sights on Go Prime, explaining how he lost his foot.
Honestly, I'm a little disappointed it isn't as Engrish-y or batshit insane as the Grand Scourge pack-in…
