It's not 3 years after last season, it's 3 years after the RBs first landed, which was 3 seasons ago. So could just be a year between the last season and this one. I always figured personally season 1 of RB took place before season 1 of Prime. However, I've also kinda stopped connecting RB to Prime cause there's gotten to be too many oddities between the two anymore.
