Thanks to Snakas for sharing with us a picture of some non-transforming Gashapon Q-Transformers figures that will be available in June of this year. This set of toys includes five different characters: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Jazz, Arcee, and Lockdown. According to information shared by Snakas, these guys will run for 300 yen, and will be released under the Takara-Tomy ARTS label (same as the recent decoy / eraser figures). They are said to be around the same size as the regular Q-Transformers, but they have traded transformation for designs closer to the animation, and five points of articulation – neck, both shoulders, and both elbows.

I got excited by the description, only to see that it's Optimus Prime in the pic, not UM.
Love the QTF-05 UM, but only slightly disappointed by his lack of paint. So if there's a new QTF UM action figure in June with better articulation and paint, I'm in. Something about those chubby deformed figures, that look so adorable.

They are still promoting BW20th on the advertisement, but if these were non-transforming figures, they should have given us some BW characters with car parts sticking off them, so that they didn't have to try to make them turn neatly into a car like the regular Q-Transformers.

Coming out in June 2016 are capsule toy (gashapon) Q-Transformers figures. There's 5 characters Ultra Magnus(?), Bumblebee, Lockdown (?), Jazz and Arcee. Retail is 278 yen per character. They don't transform but they do seem to have some articulation.
