Third party group Planet X has updated their Facebook page with new grey prototype images of their Fall Of Cybertron inspired Starscream figure. Planet X has been on a roll lately, also revealing recently their prototype of Optimus Prime. In this update we have great shots of the Cybertronian jet mode, robot mode, as well as some closeups of the finer details and accessories.
No pre-orders listed as of yet, but head on over to the discussion thread to check out the images, compare this figure to the screen captures from the FOC video game, and join in on the discussion!

After many years I finally jumped into this line and got five figures, one of which was Somnus.

I was kinda worried Mors/Somus would be akin to an upsized and overcomplicated FOC deluxe Starscream, but he isn’t. He’s amazing. He feels great, his transformation is satisifying, and he just looks damn good. Like Jupiter, he does the design he is based on proper justice.

Fun Fact: Somnus is Latin for sleep, so his name is a callback to “Sleep Mode” Optimus because, you know, they are both dead.
Somnus is also the title of the amazing main theme of Final Fantast XV.
Now you know why the emblem of that game is a women sleeping.

Okay, this is driving me absolutely freaking nuts. I got Acis recently (my first version of the mold) and I CANNOT get the tabs on the sides of the chest in to secure the backpack in robot mode. One side or the other I can get in, but not both. There's too much mass in the way and they immediately pop out. I've watched videos, reviews, none of them mention it. What the heck am I doing wrong?!?
EDIT: YES okay so I guess I rotated the waist up slightly too high and it was preventing the tabs from getting together. Thank you post #374!

I don't suppose you still have Mors for sale?

Selling one of these bad boys if anyone’s interested. Also have their shockwave.

Hey, would anyone be willing to send a size comparison between one of these seekers and a Siege or Earthrise seeker?

Figure arrived and love it. But I’m gonna make it into a non transforming figure to get the accurate wings/back pack and remove the gun port holes.

I forgot this was coming back when I stopped collecting in 2016. Have just ordered one from robottoybase, very late to the party but can’t wait as loved the WFC/FOC games and this is my favourite transformers design period and brings back such fun memories of WFC/FOC multiplayer – we need a new version of those games.
Robot mode is a masterpiece and imo the one that really matters, there’s only 3 things I don’t really like that I’ve seen.
-Gun ports in the forearms and wings, understand why they just look rubbish when not in use.
-The wings would of benefitted from being hinged to allow the most accurate representation of the game model
-Weapons would of been so much better if the forearm swapped out and was replaced with the weapon in colour matched to the arm.
Regardless can’t wait to get him, would love to try and get a second copy down the line to modify and repaint into a static version of the robot mode with the wings correct, weapon ports sanded away and filled and a weapon arm.

Decided to buy one copy after getting Jupiter and Pluto. To be completely honest, I only bought it at first cause I wanted the mace for megatron, but after messing with it for a while I came to really like this mold. Save a few things here and there, the jet mode is very accurate, but I think it really shines in robot mode. Unlike some reports, the back on my copy attaches pretty securely (that is, of course, as long as you don't shake it wildly like a madman or something). All in all a solid figure to go with my (growing) Planet X collection.
CybertronianFan
Correct. To my knowledge, PX has only made two versions of FoC SS – the standard and the TFCon exclusive clear version.
Lord Of Tetris
HUH. Neato! I didn't even know this mold could do that, and I've had mine for years.
I just tried it with my FOC Sunstorm. When I saw the picture, I hoped that you could do this and keep the elbow articulation, and so the gun could look like it transformed from the arm. But, the gun is stuck at the 90 degree angle at the elbow. Ah, phooey.
Eh…I think I'll keep the gun in the hole on the back of the forearm.
QuintusTheExaltedOne
Just so I’m aware, they only did Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Sunstorm, and Acid Storm right? Minus the clear variant that’s it?
CybertronianFan
I have all of the PX seekers (minus the clear version of SS). But I'm still eagerly awaiting for PX to announce the metallic decos of these (same for Ironhide & Ratchet + Shockwave, which I have yet to even break their seals).
Pun-3X
Well, this made me decide to finally cave and buy the $50 TC version off BBTS ($58 total). Only because his coloring is 'generic' enough I can make him anyone. And I've been wanting at least one of these larger figures for the main collection. Sounds like he's solid, so I'm looking forward to getting it.
