At New York Toy Fair, a trailer was shown for Robots in Disguise Season 2. Via LA Times, we are able to share this with all of you! The trailer may contain a few spoilers, so we’ll let you check it out for yourselves, but the headlines from it are:
- Some of the Decepticons from season 1 are going to return
- There’s some new villains too, including a female Decepticon who looks like she may play a major role
- The Autobots are going to split up to handle the challenge

Agreed. I also want Soundwave and Shockwave to come back as well.
Air Commander
I really wish Starscream and Megatron would come back. I feel like the Decepticons in this show just lack a sense of urgency…they never really pose a real threat. Steeljaw's face is also just too goofy to be menacing.
flamepanther
The animation looks a bit less nasty.
Lord Dcast
Personally I hope its a new character.

Not gonna lie if that lady con turns out to be Antagony I would fangasim over the mere fact that they chose a very lesser known botcon character to show up in a TF series.
Autovolt 127
I doubt they'll name her that, she'll probably have a randomly newish name or something.
also I'm thinking Miyuki Sawashiro should voice her in the Japanese dub.
TFW10
Yes, I found it odd too, I was thinking that maybe the autobots needed more people on their side, so, the autobots let Steeljaw and the others out to help them.
BattleUpSaber
Yes, one episode of a 30 year old cartoon has a higher budget than an entire season's worth of animation.
Don't like the show, that's fine. But that doesn't make your opinion fact.
Lord Dcast
Take…that…back…nothing is as bad as Carnage in C Minor…except BOT…and Transformers Go!…and the Bay movies depending on who you ask…I don't think so but some do…
Megano
….all my yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SeanTF1967
Groundpounder can be seen in the opening shot with all the Decepicons. The other one is currently an unknown Decepticon.
Weezie
They may show up later.
Wild Eevee
Anyone find it odd that Steeljaw was able to get into the scrapyard again? You'd think the Bot's would have beefed up security after getting locked out.
And I'm not sure that was Groundpounder,he looked more like an ourangutan to mee
Chopperface
New lady-bot-who-it-would-be-cool-if-its-Antagony-but-God-knows-they-don't-like-using-old-characters is Grey DeLisle I think.
Steeljaw ain't fucking around this time, he went for the whole herd. Wonder how poor Kickback is gonna take it after having to endure Fifty Shades of Insecticon last season. Hope the Con main cast is still Steeljaw, Thunderhoof, Clampdown, Fracture, and Underbite… plus Maybe-Antagony.
RodimusZero
Knowing this show, maybe Fracture will "digivolve" into Overload
Shattered Sky
Awesome trailer! This season looks promising. Though I'm a little bummed that there was no sign of Fracture…
Newholl
Last season of this incredibly cheap show. Even "Carnage in C-Minor" had a bigger budget than this stinker.
Lord Dcast
Ufotable would probably do it best if they had the right directors.
Get Gen Urobuchi on it too.
Oh, and Vince Dicola for the OST!
AND WINDBLADE! (Because she's really bland in this series).
Still, NONE of this will happen. You know why? Because Hasbro makes Transformers for kids. Period. Even the movies are like that, despite all the inappropriate humour.
kaijuguy19
Think if they were to do a TF series that's similar in tone of Samurai Jack and Sym-Bionic Titan where it can have both dark and funny moments done well I'd be satisfied.
Slingshot
Well, the series would have to be geared towards an adult demographic. There's no way parents would let kids watch a bloody and brutal Transformers series with morally grey characters.
I'm skeptical of Bones doing it. They could perfect the formula Prime was striving for, but I feel they would put too much comedy in a dark science-fiction horror series.
