BotCon 2016 Twitter has revealed their convention exclusive Predacus figure for the Dawn Of Predacus set which is the combined mode of Tripredacus Agent Ravage, Predacon Secret Police Tarantulas, Predacon General Cicadacon, Predacon General Ramhorn and Predacon General Seaclamp.
Artist Marcelo Matere has once again given his talent to the boxart along with Josh Perez.
The boxset will also come with a Collectible Pin.

The Japanese continuity acknowledges the movie anyway; they still got it two years later than they should've. I think in recent years they've tried retconning why Wheeljack and such appear.
As Autovolt says though, it doesn't matter since this is in the IDW BW continuity (AKA using Gathering and Ascending as well as the original BW series).

Story is alright but the illustrations (added below) are what caught my eye. Looks like BW Grimlock out of Springer, BWII Galvatron out of BH Optimus Prime, and Hot Rod from either CW Dead End or CW Blackjack.
Could be nothing, and likely is, but it could be a hint towards the souvenirs for Botcon similar to how Megatron showed up in another Botcon promotion without an official reveal.

I'm sure Ironhide and Prowl are gonna have somehow been revived and end up as Magnaboss with Silverbolt. Descent into Evil already pulled Ironhide from the dead inexplicably anyway.

That seems way too early to me unless there's more time travel involved. Megatron shouldn't be called Megatron then.
And what are Ironhide and Prowl doing alive? This is going to be major continuity screw up if that image is official and accurate.

Keep in mind that UW Armada Thrust doesn't look exactly like Armada Thrust, either. If it was made for him, they wouldn't have given him a mouth. I'm fairly certain he's supposed to be a standard conehead updated.

Given the liberties taken with accuracy for other unrelated repaints, Armada Thrust will do for the G1 coneheads. Its not completely accurate of course, but it will do.
