As it was revealed in our coverage last week, Hasbro wants the fans to take part in another vote to determine a figure in their upcoming line! Following the success of the fan created Transformer Windblade and the fan created combiner Victorion, fans now have a chance to vote for one of three possible upcoming “Titan” size class figures in the Transformers Titans Return line. Fans can vote for either the massive Decepticon city known as Trypticon, the scorpion Transformer that terrorizes the innocent known as Scorponok, or the last line of defense for the Autobots known as Omega Supreme!
All you need to do is head over to the official Transformers Facebook Page, look for the official “Vote Post”, and post one of the following messages:
– #VoteTrypticon
– #VoteScorponok
– #VoteOmegaSupreme
The winner will be announced at a later date and will be available for purchase in late 2016. Who are you going to vote for? Sound off in the discussion thread and may the best (or baddest) bot win!

It was a poll for Japanese people, for an item being sold in Japan. You're basing your opinion on how well it sold outside of Japan. That's just stupid. When you actually have the slightest clue how it sold in Japan, then your opinion might mean something.
That Guy
New it! And everyone who was worried about a headmaster I think can relax. Hasbro has 2 years to figure Trypticon out.

Guess what? Trypticon won.
WishfulThinking
Unless he's a snake body with massive hips.
Hanzkaz
I want Trypticon because I don't have a Trypticon in my collection, and I'd like something a bit more updated than the G1/Platinum version.
I've been a fan of the character ever since I read about him wreaking havoc amongst TF zombies in the old UK comics.

I've always hoped – and still do – that we'd get an updated Generations version of Star Saber. Back in the day, I'd have been happy with a jet TF that resembled the original character.
I actually remember being annoyed that Armada Star Saber was just a bunch of Mini-cons stuck together. Not quite the homage I'd been hoping for.

Thank you, you are such a nice lady.

Many of us want Trypticon for this exact reason. Most of us have Metroplex and would LOVE to compliment him with Trypticon. But even if you don't have Metroplex (you can still get him for reasonable prices) any of these figures can stand alone.
If Tryp wins that shouldn't stop you from buying Fort Max (if you like the figure)
spikebuster
I hope not. I won't be able to get it since I don't have Metroplex. If it is,I won't be getting Fortress Maximus.
GrimlockPrimal
I'm betting Trypticon might have won the vote, personally. Omega and Scorponok just aren't quite as iconic as Trypticon is; and no, the G1 toy is not suitable for a stand-in; he's not even up to Generations Metroplex's hips, let alone the same size.
This is all hinging on the worldwide votes, though.

Looks like tomorrow we find out who we're getting.

I'm curious if they are going to opt to give Trypticon an actual robot mode or not since they are probably going to integrate a Headmaster into the figure. Pretty much make him similar to Apeface and Snapdragon.
Otherwise, if they just stick with Kaiju mode, that headmaster figure is going to have to be pretty big to combine with him to avoid looking goofy. I'm thinking at least Voyager sized.

Facebook has just posted that they'll announce the results in less than 24 hours.

He's not really bashing Starsaber, but moreso illustrating the hypetrain effect of poll voting.
Anyway…personally, at this point i'm more interested in the deluxe Titans Return line up. Eager, ver eager.
Slingshot
A lot of people have known about Star Saber for years. Personally, I've known about him since I was 11, about a year or two before MP Saber came out, and he was still awesome then.
Even his IDW persona is amazing. I love how he's showing the dangers of religion.
Anyway, you win the award that only 4 other people on here have the pleasure of. You get to win the "Block" award, and possibly another award I'm tempted to mention.

WHERE'S THE RESULT!!!
I want to celebrate Tryps official win. (Or be totally bummed that the Chinese vote screwed this up)
Autovolt 127
You know i've been expecting that since Day One.
I'd be ok with it…provided they can make it work.
WishfulThinking
That AND the fact that, if he stands two feet tall, all of his mass will probably go into a long, snake-like body. Those imagining a hulking, two-foot toy are probably going to be disappointed.
Purple Heart
Thats what I'm thinking would most likely happen. It's the only read down side of choosing Trypticon. He'd be a perfect fight for YOTS Omega Supreme though. :/

Can we bookmark this for easy reference when the time comes? (although for my two cents. "Trypticon as humanoid robot" is more the potential problem than "Trypticon as headmaster", per se.)
(I'm still perfectly happy with my G1 reissue)
