VOYAGER
The Transformers battle explodes into uncharted territory when the Titans Return! To control an ancient race of giant, city-sized warriors–Titans–the Transformers must harness the power of Titan Masters, smaller bots that give bigger bots enhanced abilities in battle. Every Titan Master figure can become the head for any Deluxe Class, Voyager Class, or Leader Class Titans Return figure. Choose from Autobot and Decepticon Titan Master characters, unite them with other figures, and imagine they’re powering up for battle! Each Titans Return Voyager Class figure comes with a Titan Master figure. The Titan Master figure becomes the head of Voyager Class figure. When the Voyager Class figure is in vehicle mode, the Titan Master figure fits inside. Each Voyager scale figure is also a triple changer. Includes individual accessories and collectible character card. Additional figures are each sold separately. Subject to availability.

I decided to go with Takara's Galvatron. The shade of purple isn't that big of a deal, but I do like the additional paint apps.
Skullhammer
Hey, at least, he`s official
ThrustJan
No problems,he remains awesome!
Thanks for your help,really .
And also,Thanks Hasbro for a great Galvatron after so much time.
CW Leader Megatron that I don't own, is also good(and as attitude I prefer Megs a lot)but for design of both modes and his Voyager dimensions I prefer this Galvatron.
Considering all of these things perhaps he won't be expensive….I'm programming to buy Masterpiece Shockwave as soon as it's released, and 4 Combaticons limbs soon after,I wonder if we could also see this Galvatron on US already on July or August .
In worst case hope that he'll be released at least on early Autumn, anyway as soon as it will be realeased, istant buy.

First Prime, then Ultra Magnus, now Galvatron!
AMG
I must own this.

Nope, I don't think any of the TW guys other than Fort Max will have electronics.
ThrustJan
Just found this …no words ,absolutely to buy him…..the face, cannon mode and poses in bot mode are the best things.
Him as headmaster is questionable but at least that little Megatron is genius !
Besides,as a Voyager he'll scale very well with CW figures so this is a better choice than leader class, for my collection.
If I've understood well,at the moment he doesn't own lights or sound effects confirmed,am I correct ?

Oh, speaking of Brainstorm, I have one for Sale or Trade MIB if anyone wants it. There's already a thread for it in the sales forum along with AoE Slog. (They're both in the same thread, I only had Slog when I made the thread so it doesn't mention Brainstorm in the title.)
T-Hybrid
Well, not kids anyway.
Though we did get a revision once Hasbro figured out how to fix the paint/neck issues causing Head Converts to Pilot to stick in the peg.

I take back what I said earlier about that other head not being a good replacement for the one he comes with. I just found this video showing how the head works. The head Galvatron originally comes with actually does look exactly like the replacement you showed me. The crown part is actually part of the main figure that flips up from the chest to complete the look of the head. I was thinking the crown was actually part of the Headmaster mold.

We still might get a more toy accurate repaint. I mean look at the Energon mold. Megatron was basically painted in G1 toy colors while Galvatron got the G1 Animated colors.
The little Headmaster does look suspiciously like Megatron but they don't actually call him that. I'm kind of imaging the repaint being in Toy Colors with the Headmaster actually being called Megatron while the larger robot is possibly given a new name.
Why did they choose the name Nucleon for the Headmaster anyway? I think maybe it was suppose to be Nebulan which originally was the name of the race that became the Decepticon Headmasters, but maybe they lost the Trade Mark to use that name so they picked the next closest thing. This is just speculation but I'm just curious where that name came from. It's mostly because they didn't just outright name him Megatron that I think he'll get a repaint using that name.

Funny enough I thought that before we saw Galvatron at Toy Fair I figured Hasbro will paint their version into the G1 toy/IDW colours while Takara will go for the G1 show accurate colours but that wasn't ethe case.

To be fair… has anyone EVER heard a single report of any kids throwing temper tantrums for any reason? No because it's not news worthy. It happens every day, no one's going to report on any specific event. That's like reporting that the sky is blue.
The only way you'll hear it reported is either it's a very slow news day, or they're reporting it because the parents handled the situation the wrong way or not at all.
Just because it's not on the news every time a kid throws a temper tantrum doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Ask any parent.

I just tell my kids "no", more people should do it.
Autobot Burnout
To be fair, we already got Brainstorm as a headmaster and I don't recall a single report about kids throwing temper tantrums because Arcana broke or got lost…
SaberPrime
… Obviously you've never seen a kid get upset over a lost toy being replaced with the exact same toy. Little kids can actually be MORE picky than we tend to be. My brother and I some how still managed to fight over our toys despite the fact that we both had most of the exact same figures. There were very few toys that I had but he didn't and vice versa. Most of the time my dad bought two of everything, one for me, and one for him. And we still ended up fighting despite being the exact same figure.
If young kids can throw a fit over exactly identical replacements, then they're really not going to like that thing being used as a replacement for Galvatron's original head. The only way you can get away with a replacement head is if the kid doesn't realize that you bought a replacement. They have to think that is the original.
You might be able to get away with it with older children. But they'd be close to the age where they're going to stop playing with toys and either loose interest or start becoming collectors. They'd still be young enough though that they probably won't know what Galvatron is suppose to look like. By that time then they'd probably just a head they think was suppose to go with that figure rather than the one it originally came with. Or if in a few years someone buys one from a yard sale not even realizing it has the wrong head, then they won't care. But being a brand new figure, people are going to know when they have the wrong head. It'll be a while before they stop caring about it.
Smitty.1981
All good points but kids will lose the head at some point and they are not nearly as picky as we tend to be.
SaberPrime
Yeah I saw that but that head design doesn't look like Galvatron. It might match in colors but not in design. It's a pretty poor replacement should someone loose the original head.
I'd be more concerned if I still actually played with my toys. But considering they spend most of their time sitting on a shelf and looking awesome I'm fairly confident that I won't need to replace his head. It's just something I felt I needed to point out because this is a toy line meant for kids not adult collectors.
Smitty.1981
Are you tracking that they will be selling what is basically extra heads?

There is even one that comes in matching colors.
