Via a scan from the latest Japanese hobby magazines, we have a silhouette teasing a new Masterpiece release from Takara-Tomy! This one is clearly Rodimus from the silhouette, and to be frank, it looks like a new mold as opposed to a reissue of the MP-9 Rodimus Convoy.
We’ve not got a lot of other details to go on, however a rough translation of the text suggests Hot Rodimus here is coming after Ironhide, and speculation is he’ll be in scale with the other Masterpiece Autobot cars. We’d imagine this one must be a special release coming in 2016 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the original Transformers movie, which was where Hot Rod made his debut. I have MP-28. I'll probably get Hoodlum if reviews are good. I like that car mode. MP-28 (and-09) look smooshed to me.

Put way , way in the back burner . Just like there acoustic wave , once Takara gets to it first , FT’s goes a different direction . As well they should because there hoodlum was far from good looking.

Mines rolls perfectly, everything lines up correctly if properly transformed. The only problem I have with the one I own is the back pack not tabbing in securely, it tabs, just not solid tight. His chrome has yet to fade, and I keep all mines in a toy chest.

Mine rolled ok, but I also got the reprolabels (it was 1cent at the time). Not the best solution, but it's the only one I can give.

Exactly. If something with wheels can't roll freely and easily then it defeats the purpose. FT Hoodlum will show how it's done.
