If you’ve been in the Transformers Fandom for a few years now, you’ll understand the rumor mill that is the Transformers live action movies. It’s not uncommon to start reading rumors about which villains will be in the next sequel, Michael Bay will return / not return, and much more.
The latest story that ran wild, has now been debunked by actor Mark Ryan (voice actor for Bumblebee, Jetfire, and Lockdown), which several news outlets reported as the source of the rumors. However, Mr. Ryan claims this is completely false, from Mr. Ryan’s Facebook page:
I’m totally stunned regarding the current misleading online chatter about TF-5 and comments I did not make! I have never given an official interview regarding TF-5, nor would I even utter the words Unicron or Quintessons! This is all internet speculation and hype because I was misquoted from a casual chat with a fan at an event in the UK. I sincerely have no idea what the storyline for TF-5 will be, or who/what’s in it, or even who will direct it! It’s all secret until the movie is released so as not to spoil the excitement for the fans. Sorry guys! I did not say what you are reading online and even if I knew, I would not tell! Always check with the original source directly first before posting speculation please. Cheers! Mark Ryan.
Take it for what it is, but remember to always try and take Transformers movie news with a pinch of salt. As always, we’ll keep you updated.

This guy disagrees.

I get tired of reading it
Burnout00012
You're implying that I'm dissatisfied with the movies.
I'm just tired of hearing the same thing in every thread.
Autobot Burnout
Damnit now you made me nostalgic for Junkyard Wars. That shit was always entertaining.
Well…Bats is also the richest superhero, right?
(please note that I am being silly here and in no way think the credit card was necessary)
I do now. And to be honest, if they're as good as the last few films have been (read: all of them except the horrible second film), it's probably the one series I'm glad to see keep going. At least each iteration keeps the insanity of the vehicle stunts interesting and unique.
When even people who were involved with the films say it's unsalvagable…that's never a good sign
Cashie
All I know is that the movie will be about an hour too long.
Also… something, something, China.
Newholl
How many times do you need to get screwed over before you finally put 2 and 2 together?
Newholl
Well, at least he's honest.
Starscream Gaga
Why are we randomly attacking people in this thread?
Oh, right. Movie thread.
Nevermore
Why do you think I put it in quotation marks?
Whereas this person appears to be dead serious.

Internet misdirection and miscommunication strike again!
Good to know that these rumours aren't true and that Mark is still following what's happening.
To be fair, while I like say, the ROTF forest battle (the same example HT used if I'm now wrong), even I had to watch that scene dozens of times before I caught many of the smaller details.
And you have my pity. Why are we attacking each other to begin with?
NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! DOES NOT COMPUTE! DOES NOT COMPUTELARRRRRGHH!
I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL KILL YOU!
RazorclawX
You do realize they're making a sequel don't you?
Autoboty
A BAT CREDIT CARD? A BAT CREDIT CARD?
They had the BALLS to give the best superheroes of all time A BAT CREDIT CARD?
Megastar
By a much better director.
tekering
Every one of those films has a better script than ANY of the Transformers films.
Just sayin'.
Burnout00012
I never got the complaints about that, I can clearly see what's going on.
You are a sad, strange little man.
MartyFeeb
Don't you mean junkyards battling it out?

PLEASE PLEASE RUIN THE QUINTS AND UNICRON, MICHAEL BAY!
I get the bad feeling he'll space-cloud the space god, a la FF:Rise of Surfer (which he also directed and/or produced).
In fact, let me just go out and say I scream, "DAMN YE BAYYYYYY!!!" pretty much every time I see a classic franchise crushed with "innovative revisions to modernize for new audiences" or some such nonsense (when honestly, you can get a kid to enjoy G1 more than Bay movies, any Bay movie).
Wh33l JcK
man… Optimus Prime searching for the Quints and confronting Unicron sounds awesome, that is actually the movie I want to see!!!
That would be such a bummer if it isn't true.
Olivus Prime
I feel pretty crappy for vaguely mentioning what he said to me now. You guys need to keep it cool when it comes to info like this – I stated that nothing was confirmed and he was always the last to know, and suddenly everyone's making up shit about what the storylines are going to be. I guess that's the internet though.
Burnout00012
As long as they keep delivering 2 hours of robot combat, I'm golden.

Obviously you didn't do your research if you're saying writing and acting had nothing to do with why these films were so well recieved:
Titanic: James Cameron wrote, co-produced, and directed it.
Avatar: James Cameron wrote, co-produced, and directed it.
300: Based on a comic book written by Frank Miller, who also wrote Sin City in its original comic book form. Plus, the film largely was a success because of Gerald Buttler's enthusiastic performance as Leonidas since he's always the guy saying the most memorable quotes of that film.
Dark Knight: Heath Leger's death was what got him the posthumanous Best Supporting Actor award, his actual performance as Joker in the film is what made that film so great. If his performance had sucked, his death wouldn't have made it any better.
FF7: Jason Staham vs Vin Deisel in an over the top car action film that ends the franchise that gave birth to the street racing genre popularity boom. This one was all about star power and well-coreographed if totally impossible stunts in the scripting.
Frozen: It's an adaption of a Hans Christen Andersen story – Disney's been making money off of his stuff for decades so the fact this added one more to their success list is no surprise.
Big Hero 6: Heavily stylized adaption of a Marvel comic book title and also a pretty powerful narrative about loss and betrayal despite the big cuddly robot marshmallow.
Hey, you can't really blame me – it's not like his or the movies track records are at all promising.
