GigaPower posted on their Facebook page prototype images of their up coming product Grassor, a Masterpiece style homage to the Dinobot Slag. Grassor is to be their second of five Gigasaurs with the highly acclaimed Guttur being the first. Giga stated that there are a few more changes that they plan on making before the final product is released sometime around this November. Grassor is going to come with a slew of accessories such as dual rocket launchers, additional clear pieces, and possibly an alternate head.
Check out the attached images and discuss on the boards after the jump.

I have one with a finger in backwards. I’m guessing their assembly team is not up to Fanstoys standards. That said, I thing Giga Dinobots are still the best looking MP version out there.

I ordered a used Chrome Grassor from Ebay a few months ago, only to discover that his upper thighs were assembled incorrectly in the factory. (They were switched.) I had to take apart the upper legs from the hip joint to the knee joint and switch the thighs to the correct positions. (I'm not sure the seller even noticed this. The lower half was in alt mode when it arrived.) Fortunately, all the ratchets and joints survived the surgery perfectly intact. Has anyone else come across this manufacturing error?

Got a full chrome giga dinobots set, all new only opened to inspect. DM me if interested!

I don't suppose anyone have the clear covers on the gold circle on the hindlegs, they are willing to part with?
peaces
sold mine months ago. they had some scratches and still got a decent price for them and there was tons of interest.

Do we think there'll be a reissue of the metallic versions since slag and snarl are up for preorder on showz? I have those 2 preordered, but my OCD demands I have a set that matches.
Edit: Made this comment before refreshing and seeing the comment above me. Reissues seem unlikely at this point then and I gotta bite the after market bullet it seems
If anyone is willing to sell their HQ-02R and HQ-03R (looking for like new condition) feel free to DM me.

Not sure of any reissues. They're pretty old and have already been reissued a couple of times. Gigapower doesn't even make any transformers related products anymore and they don't offer aftersales services anymore.
peaces
they have been very pricey for a long time. i don't know if there is a reissue planned or not.

I've been living under a rock for years and wasn't aware of the GigaPower Dinobots. (I mostly just collect beast wars, but love anything dino). I was able to snag Grimlock(HQ-01R) and Swoop(HQ-05R) on ebay this morning for very fair prices, and thinking of getting sludge(HQ-04R) on BBTS. Currently trying to find Slag(HQ-02R) and Snarl(HQ-03R), but they are PRICEY. Is it safe to assume well get a reissue of the chrome versions of those 2?
What I'd really love is have them all in the weathered versions, but not sure if the other 3 will ever come out.

I heard how beautiful these were, but finally holding it in hand I'm blown away.

Has anyone here tried painting the alternative red face silver?
StrangeAeons
you could just paint the knees silver yourself. man i want Grassor with chrome thighs like in that pic, would have been awsome

I stand corrected. I thought the upper legs were full silver

I just recieved a copy of the first run and the knees are black….I want to use the silver thighs, but they'll ook odd with the blsck knees.
FiVE1ZERO
Wrong. I have the 1st run and it didn't have painted knees. Also Somechump painted his knees.

The first run of metallic came that way, along with all the extra parts. Look up the page at @Somechump post of his ratchet fix, he has the silver knees/thighs.
FiVE1ZERO
My guess is early prototypes/product pictures (like that) had the Silver knees but once it went to production they scrapped it for black knees. Sorta like what happen with the Chrome thighs on Grassor.

As far as I recall neither Silver knees or Chrome thighs ever made it on any releases & later reissues.

I have a question….I got this pic off TCP. Does anyone know where they got the silver knee joints?!?

I arrived late to the Gigasaur party and have Chrome versions of Gaudenter (Blue), Superator, and Graviter in-hand. Realistically, will we actually see Gigapower reissue Chrome Grassor and Chrome Guttur? The idea of paying $500 in the aftermarket is a bitter pill.
